I like all, they do have significant pros however. Large animals, for places that accepts pets, protection and etc. While on the other hand, the need to provide and care for animal in a no pets residence can be compensated with a small animal or two, or three haha d=.

              Small-to-medium size, definitely not tiny

Small but not too small. I have a thought about keeping a bearded dragon or snake, but I'm pretty sure my whole family would freak out…

I prefer to have smaller pets, like cats/small dog breeds. I like smaller animals like rats and ferrets too, but they wouldn't make ideal pets for me, partly because I'd worry about them getting lost or getting in places they shouldn't be.

I like bigger animals too, but I wouldn't want a medium-size or bigger dog because I think it'd probably be cramped, and it just seems like an even bigger responsibility, frankly (I can't even imagine owning and caring for something like a horse, which seems like a ton of work). I like that a lot of my friends have medium-sized and bigger dogs (pit bulls, mainly), because they're nice to snuggle up to, even if I wouldn't want to have to care for one fulltime. They make good companions/pillows when you're hung over. 🙂
