How old were you when you came out?

I was 18 when I told my closest friends, 26 when I told my parents and my brother.

14 to friends, class-mates and family, then I was on national telly due to a program on sexuality at the age of 15. No way back in after that, haha
-
26 and not out yet. Not exactly closeted though but I prefer not to say. My parents don't know (or maybe they do but I haven't declared yet to them) but my friends know. My public social media accounts are open to see the followers/friends list which consist of mostly shirtless guys.
Are they -your social media accounts- really open?
Are you so comfortable with that?

I was 19, It wasn't easy
-
Been out to everyone, including my family since I was 13.
I come from a Macedonian family too, so it wasn't easy, but everyone has accepted me for who I am and my sexual orientation isn't even a subject any more. I'm 28 years old now. I found coming out wasn't the hardest part of being gay, being around other gay guys is the hardest part.

I guess you could say I never had a closet as everyone in my family basically when I was growing up even as such a young child. I think? I officially came out and told my aunt who raised me when i was 12 but she obviously wasn't shocked as I always talked to her about the hot guys on TV or in person since I was like 6.

For friends, I've always kind of hinted without overtly saying it. I think most of them have taken the hint. I've only plainly told a handful of female friends in the midst of a very unpleasant period where I was crushing hard on a mutual straight friend. I told him eventually. We don't really talk anymore, haha. ::) I came out to one of my sisters in my early 20's. My mom in my early 20's, too. She doesn't seem to "get it". We don't discuss it much. ::)
It's basically an open secret with me. I don't really hide it or advertise it, but I don't mind telling people if they ask.

I was 15 or 16. I tested the waters by mentioning "I wonder if i'm bisexual." But then I fully came out in therapy. My parents were surprised, and it took a little getting used to, but everything's fantastic now. I'm so proud of how far my parents came.
But other than that, I haven't told all my family. On my mom's side, it actually went perfect because my cousin, who is way older than me, came out to my aunt, and my mom was like "Oh Andrew's gay too!" But neither of us have told my uncle, who I really don't know how would react. On my Dad's side I haven't told anyone. My Grandma is still alive and considering I don't really care about that side of the family I thought there was no point in stirring the pot, and possibly jeoperdizing my inheritance. But whenever my grandma is gone i'll probably yell my aunt, uncle and cousins, they're all very liberal so I doubt they would care.

I was outed by my 'best friend' when I was 13.. initially I hated her but was thankful that she did it for me. I felt so free!
