There are so many labels and stereotypes that, particularly for those of us who are not very involved in the gay community, it is easy to fall into the trap of feeling one has to "fit in" to some sort of clique or adopt a label and conform to an imagined set of expectations we have seen in a porn precedence. That is how it was for me anyway. The first time someone called me Daddy I did a double-take and thought "oh my, when did I become one of those?" I was so surprised, I am only 37. I liked it, but I slightly worried that I would increasingly be expected to morph into a dominant top as I get older, just because I have eaten a few too many carbs and grown a beard. It's not that way though, It is different with everyone. I never appealed to guys in their twenties when I was in my twenties, but now I seem to interest young guys and they don't usually want or expect me to top, in fact I met one that was so alpha he wanted me to call HIM Daddy! I guess I am just at that awkward age; torn between the chasers and the silver bears and can't decide what I like best. Best to just sample a little of everything I think.

Most daddies that I've talked to will label themselves as tops. However, that doesn't mean that all are….or that they are expected to be. I'd love to have a nice daddy in his late 40s to 60s and have them top and bottom for me.
