concerning your last point.. I dont see what "U turn" you are talking about... Did I asked for the ban of guys putting what the hell they want in their ass? No.. Bestdeaths is not so much gay interest, as wannabe serial killer interest imo. If you read their 'about' page, they tell you nothing at all about WHY they do what they do. That ambiguity is disconcerting.
If they said it was to help young actors practice their acting, or to provide horror movie directors with material, i could get it, but they don't say why.
Who gets off on watching guys being fake killed except maybe guys who actually think about doing it. Disturbing. -

No outlet? Are you kidding me? If someone is having thoughts, getting off on killing somebody, they need psychiatric help, not a website to fuel their desires. You can argue the case that providing an outlet helps to satisfy their desire so that they don't engage for real, but there are two problems with this. One is, that criminal psychologists generally support (though are divided based on lack of hard data) the idea that ramping up the content available, pushes the boundaries to a new point, where some people will need more than what is available to satisfy their desire. In this regard, having a boundary where their desire is kept low, such as seeing a guy strangled in a mainstream action movie, is much safer for society than having them enjoy an outlet purely focused on the killing, however fictional it is. The second point is, that we all know that most people don't act on the content that is portrayed in the media in relation to violent acts, and that it is the psychopaths in society most likely to do that. This gets to the very nub of the problem with the Bestdeaths website, that is, that you would have to be pretty pschopathic to be interested in such a thing. So this site isn't merely satisfying peoples curiosities, as it is encouraging psychos desirabilities.
It is very controversial as to whether such material actually helps or hinders. I believe it hinders. Do you think that a website which shows realistic computer generated images of children, in naked sexual contexts, is going to help satisfy the desire of a peadophile, or fuel it? The Norwegians proposed such a website. Very controversial. It likely would depend on the psyhopathy of the paedophile as to whether such content would satisfy or fuel their desires, with predatory peados being the fueled psychos.
Somebody with an interest in watching guys (or gals) being killed, is highly unlikely NOT to be a psychopath, so it stands to logical reason, that they would be fueled, not satisfied. -

And that is all, comparing murder porn to something like Saw is losing all the subtext… the thing with other erotic fetishes is they do not KILL someone, so whatever... the thing with snuff be it real or fake is that the rules in here clearly forbid it, and for whatever reason right now fake is allowed. And yeah it might feel like me acting as your parent maybe you need it. Maybe sometimes someone needs to tell people where the limit is, maybe someone who already saw people die in this context... ever thinked about that, about that this actually happens? David Decoteau isn't mainstream. His movies are niche, at best.
I haven't seen "The Fall". HOWEVER, even if you are right about that, it's only one of millions of mainstream tv/movies. Sex in a show/movie where death is part of the plot doesn't mean that death is sexualized.

Having killing as the central focus, and only real selling point, of material that is meant to sexually stimulate and nothing else, is OBVIOUSLY very very dubious indeed … How you could argue against that sensibly is beyond me !!! ... I have not seen any of the films so I cannot comment on anything but the concept ... And the concept IS dangerous ... Theres no way around it ... I don't believe in censorship but I'm amazed whoever is making this stuff hasn't had a visit from the authorities ... I don't know ... Perhaps its so bad its funny, I don't want to watch any of it to find out ... But anyone who gets off on watching people get killed ( fake or not ) has issues that are going to lead to trouble ( accidentally or not ) or mental problems in later life, if their interest has been brought on by childhood experiences in wartime or something similar
