        sorry but that is incorrect and an old wives tale , Cockroaches are only dirty if you keep a dirty house
        there are umpteen tests conducted on cockroaches and on humans that are evidence based and all concluded that the cockroach has less germ transmittance on it than swabs from humans.

        they are creepy looking fuckers though.

          I always thought the term was Bathmophobia but it turns out I have Climacophobia not that I can pronounce either one.  The long and the short of it is if your in a rush don't get behind me when I am going down stairs.  I have been known to sit and wait for the fear to pass.

            bathophobia  without the M , is a fear of depth , be it hallways stairs lakes deep pools etc , i have a client right now with climacophobia , we spent the whole day today overcoming the anxiety to go down escalators.

              And with the M bathmophobia is specifically a fear of stairs or slopes which I was led to believe my issue was but looking it up on my own I found Climacophobia.  For me it's really just about going down stairs and I know exactly why, when we were younger my brother fell.  The goose egg he got on his head was so alien and weird to me it's left me with this fear.  It's manageable especially when I am alone or stairs I am familiar with but if there are randoms going on around me the panic can set in.  Escalators not an issue, in fact I get incensed with the people who "stop walking because the stairs are moving".

                    I don't think I'm truly irrationally afraid of patterns of holes, but trypophobia gives me the wigs. ick, I got grossed out just googling how to spell it properly lol.

                      This…

                      If you have a shiver looking at that picture (not disgust) than unconsciously you have Trypophobia.

                      Yeah. And do not Google it. It's not a friendly experience…...

                              acrophobia applies even to heights that would not be deemed dangerous in normal circumstances .

                              I guess that's me then, I've been known to struggle to walk over bridges (as in 4 lane iron road bridges not some rope and wood thing) depending on how close to the side I have to be. Another time on a school residential I was persuaded to give rock climbing a try (artificial wall in a big warehouse type thing, fully harnessed and everything), once I'd got about 4-5 feet off the ground I became absolutely terrified and started yelling at the teacher to get me down, I believe that was the only time I ever got away with swearing at a teacher, certainly can't go anywhere near cliff tops and things.

                                  no clue of their names but I have a strong dislike and fear of being underground and of clowns.  I have no clue why the underground thing since I am not really claustrophobic.  But clowns make sense they are evil soul sucking beasts from the great beyond as I see them.

                                  "Courlophobia" is the irrational fear of clowns I believe. I can't remember how to spell the word correctly though  😞

                                    coulrophobia (Greek): an abnormal fear of clowns!

                                    coulro- (perhaps < Greek kolon limb; with sense of 'stilt-walker', hence 'clown') + -phobia

                                    ::)
