Gay App Experiences?

Hi, I am new to the whole gay apps thing and have found to have a good strike rate in getting replies and such but not many follow through.
What are some of the stages people on here go through? Do people pretend to be interested not to be rude but then just ignore you? I've been blocked a few times when I ask too many questions which is weird..
I also tend to go on instinct and vibe of the guy im chatting to if I want to meet up.
What's your experiences?

My experiences? The worst possible. I quit using gay apps some time ago. Could only find jerks and really dull people.

i don't use them ,as i tend to find most of the guys on sites like that are banal and facile but if you do choose to, just take them with a grain of salt , people aren't there to make friends, they are there to fuck.if you're looking for friendship find some gay groups on meetup.com

Nah… I happen to no longer use it since I'm mostly ignored, big time. They always said "No pic, No reply" or "Simple". I don't assume that simple, simple as in meaning "Must be sexy or handsome" perhaps, since I always used my own pictures in gay dating app and nope. I only looked for friends there and they still don't respond, at all. So there it is.
