10 new posts per hour?

Seems like there is a deluge of posts going on again. Roughly averages to 10 per hour. Well over 90% of the are crap that nobody would want. Sigh.
I feel like a gold miner sluicing through the mud and gravel for the good stuff.

well, better too MANY posts than too few. There is another site with nearly the same name as this site that only has an average of 1 or 2 porn posts per day.
I do have one suggestion though. I bet the vast majority of the posts are from just one poster who has automated posting torrents. It would be nice if ADVANCED users had the option of ignoring those movies, or putting a priority on seeing the other posts first. Sometimes it is like a full time job just to sort through all the new posts.

You would loose that bet. There are many, many different uploaders adding to the listing, yesterday more than 60 :cheers:

I somehow don't think that automated scripts would be very tolerated based on what I know of the system and the people who made it.
What I do think is more likely though is that certain users are just going upload crazy and firing out torrent after torrent, without letting any of them seed to completion before uploading the next torrent in the line up.

Those who won't complete will get soon or later set to have their uploads going through moderator approval, so the pace and completition can be controlled.
Multiple uploads at once are permitted IF they all complete within 24 hours after their respective upload. (Just to remind that change versus some years ago).

There have been recent days in which I found dozens of movies worthy of downloading per day. This past week has been the pits though.. it's been a very high ratio of crap to gold. This came at the best time though.. because I have to start on a new 8TB drive. Just like Justin Bieber's ass.. I'm all filled up!
