Were more people interested in you after you came out?

I only came out to some of my closest friends. Its not a public announcement, so there is no difference.

I experienced it like that. There were a lot of people at my school, mainly asking me stupid questions… :afr:

Yes.

A lot of my friends were able to understand me in a different way.

Also, if I wasn't out, I wouldn't have met my three ex-boyfriends.

I was thinking something along these lines too, maybe more so the vibes a person puts out. Maybe after coming out some people have more self-confidence, less stress, less or no depression (if that was a thing for them), maybe just a happier and more pleasant person to be around. Well, yea, actually, I imagine it does all those things for most people.

Coming out did wonders for me. I'm out to friend and family, but not at work…on the verge, out everywhere else.

I don't know if the numbers changed, but my perspective did. When I was "in", I was trying so hard to be "straight" I couldn't really see who was interested in me. After I came out, because I was honest with myself, I could see that people (guys and girls) were interested in me.
