      Guys, kindly have a look at this article and take precautionary measures to protect yourself. This particularly concerns Windows users. As a Linux user I did not see my real public IP revealed. However do give your feedback after testing your connection at the following link :

          I use Private Internet Access VPN on MAC and it works fine.

          However, I haven't tried it yet on my Windows 7 pc.
