So I met a Really hot (to me objectively probably 6 or 7 but all the features I really love in a guy he has so makes him a ten in my book) guy at training for work he doesn't work at my branch nor in any I would go to I'm back at a second training after a few weeks and he is there and  we both have this training through Friday. Now total mixed signals he is a interior design major and wears fairly pricey clothes that are fairly stylish but he is also in the army reserve and a fairly active outdoors-man doesn't have a girlfriend or wife and is quote "Not looking for or interested in one". So I'm debating asking him out mostly because if he's not gay and has a bad reaction to my asking then I could be outed to my coworkers which always carries an element of risk especially since my general manager is a real southern religious mans man. On the other hand I have this suspicion hes gay in which case I highly doubt he'd out me but I'm not sure if thats just my own wishful thinking. So do I ask him out or not and why if you don't mind?
For context I work in a large multi national bank and I am in Pennsylvania (US).

Could always just ask him if he would like to go out to dinner some time. It is all in how you phrase the question. If he is a gay man he will know it would be a date and if he is not then it would just be dinner.

Might be risky mixing relationships with work. I'd go with what LEVI said though.

I can't really comment on this one. The last time I mixed business and pleasure, it landed me in jail :lolp:

I think you should ask him out, but not exactly for a "date" just hang out as friends. Then, when you have more interaction with him, you'll find out if he's actually gay or not. Those things might come out when he talks about relationships, his experiences, or the lack of them. After that, yo could make a move on him.
