Dead Torrent??

Hi,
I'm new and find the whole uploading thing very confusing. I tried to upload a video, and got pretty far. Unfortunately the torrent isn't visible. In fact, it's says it's "dead." Can someone tell me what I did wrong and how to fix it please? -

The usual reason for your problem is that you didn't download your own torrent and start the seed.
You need to download the torrent you posted, then open that as you would any other torrent. When your torrent program asks where to save it, you point to the exact file on your hard disk that you made the torrent from. Don't worry, it won't overwrite, it will check that the file is the right one and then start seeding
