Cross-generational relationships.

I find I have stricter criteria for meeting older men. In addition to being attractive, they'd have to be smart(you're old, you should be experienced and well-learned so that we have something in common besides sex) and financially well-off(I'm young enough to be your son, you better be treating me like it).

On the first part I agree; intelligence is an attractive quality. However I don't want a "sugar daddy", I don't like to be treated like an invalid or something.

No man should expect or be expected to support another man.

Personally, I don't see the problem with this if it is explicitly stated in the relationship. It's obviously different if the person with money is being taken advantage of by the other under the guise of love.

A couple of years ago I was into older men as well. My first time was with a 45+ guy. But now I am looking for a bit younger guys like 30+. I guess I am getting old, lol

I've always liked older guys; I had a hard time relating to guys my age back then. However, as I've gotten older, my tastes have expanded, for the better. At 48 I still find older men hot, but I can also see the attractions of younger guys too. I think as you mature and get life experience, you start to see that there are many qualities that can be attractive, beyond the normal physical ones. It's cliche to say, but true: nothing is permanent, everything changes, and this includes who you are attracted to.
So don't worry about being attracted to a narrow type when you're young (you're only 19 after all); it's perfectly normal. But also don't be surprised when your tastes start to change, evolve and expand. It's part of growing up, so be open and enjoy it. Actually, if your taste in men never changes, I would worry that you are NOT maturing as a person.

Men that are 40 or 50 are just fine for me if i was twenty.

I always had an attraction for older guys, like 30 - 45. I'm not into older than that, and i prefer the athletic ones, not much in macho style, just handsome older guys.
I had my first time with a bear (the destiny), he is not athletic, but with a strong manly body, not fat but not thin. He was a "Normal" guy, but well built. I just went into heavens when i was fucked by him. 29 years old and i have 19, 10 years of difference are great. He is so experienced, and i had any. He knew how to touch me , make me horny. Unfortunately, i just fucked him one time, because he lived in another city.
I can say to you that i loved to stay with an hot older guy, and realized that i wanna to enjoy still when i'm a "twink". Because one of the best experiences a guy can have in his sex life is to have sex with an nice older guy, with experience. The gap of 10-15 years seems nice to me. I expect to have sex with another older guys.
I think it's great!!!
But i should do a PS: I'm not sure about an long-term relationship, because, he'll get older than you sooner, and that isn't so nice (my opinion), i think that you'll reach a strange point .So, enjoy older guys for not so long periods. Imagine them as teachers, you'll get experience and sensations with them, but not have classes with the same teacher forever. I just reccomend you that.

I met my husband a few days after my 20th birthday. He was 32. We are still together. I am almost 62, he 74.

I'm with you too. I am generally attracted to guys who are matured[read 35+] and I fine them well experienced and not prone to pre-ejaculation.
But I've also found one prone to NO-ejaculation. LOL :cry2:

I like older bears, but not older than 43-44. And Since I'm turning 35 soon … fuck, I'm old

I am 19 and all the guys i have had sex with are 40+

i think its great, older single men could do with the company, i read an article that older gay men have a higher chance of dying alone and i can see that, many older men i met live alone and i feel sorry because i can only make one happy in this world.
i have always been interested in men 50+ and i have been with my partner for 6 years,38 years difference.

Part of what attracts me to my much younger bf is that he is self-supporting, has a good job, has an upward career path, and has also started more than one profitable business.
To me, this is someone who is responsible, capable, creative, independent, and who wants me for myself, not as a meal ticket.
In addition, he finds me intellectually challenging, the kind of body type he dreams of, and someone who knows lots of things he does not about life and sex and other things. Since he knows a completely different range of things about life, sex, and the rest, we can be good friends as well as lovers. He is not only striking handsome and constantly horny, but someone I'm pleased to know and grow with.
Unlike some people his age, he is able to write and think and is not shallow or ignorant, though again, I grew up with the Beatles (Paul McCartney's old backup band, LOL), and in a much more homophobic time before the plague arrived. I find the mix of our alien backgrounds as exciting as his body and how he uses it, and his mind is definitely a pleasure to know as well.
