Anyone REALLY dislike tattoos?
-
I'm beside of every man with tattoos in this world. So, cheers guys, you did a great job .
I always think that tattoo is work of art and I always admire people with high sense art, like I love movies and musics as an art outcome. So, when it come to art, its always beautiful, whatever it is, its always beautiful.

I got my tattoos for myself. not for an image or a validation
PS: Women get tattoos too.
Women with tattoos are entirely different and more horrendous ballpark.
You can do many things with your life – and that's great. There are people who put bones in their noses and plates in the mouths, too. I'm sure it attracts certain people looking for that kind of thing -- which is a minority. When someone says, "Hey, I don't really care for guys with bones in their noses" it shouldn't be utterly shocking or offensive. To me, a tattoo is nothing but a self-induced permanent rash. And just like I wouldn't be too thrilled about hooking up with a guy with a rash on his ass, I wouldn't really care to find a tramp stamp either.

I think in many cases tattoos are a sign that the guy has an inferiority complex about his masculinity, so he needs to 'toughen' himself up.
Maybe in the porn world, but the people I know don't give a crap what people think about them.
My tattoos are about my life and how I feel about things. It's my story, if you will.

No doubt. All my ink has special significance: either to memorialize a unique event or in tribute to another. For those that indulge for purely decorative reasons, I say good for you too!
Its neither my place nor desire to pass judgement on how one lives his/her life or how they choose to express themselves as long as they can respect others' right to do so as well.

I've mellowed out quite a bit when it comes to tattoos (I used to be really anti)
I still tend not to like them, especially if they're huge and/or rather… sudden but a few small, tasteful ones can look pretty good (I'd never have any though)

One or two are sexy.
Guys that cover almost 95% of their bodies with tatto is not a pretty sight (at least to me). -
Tattoos in a certain spot can make me taste the vomit in the back of my throat but that's only because they are in that certain spot that mine is and I am reminded of the experience.
-
Certain spots?

Certain spots?
Yes. Apparently I chose one of the worst places for mine as far as nerves or some such. I went into shock mid-way through the ordeal & started to convince myself it would be 'just fine' half finished.
-
I can feel a certain chill right across my spine.
-
For the longest time after getting mine just looking at any tattoo could make me nauseous but that has passed, now just where mine is & necks make me queasy. I have also been known to laugh loudly when I hear people say "they don't hurt". I know pain having suffered through low back pain for many years and walking around on a broken ankle for a day before deciding maybe a doctor should look at it.
I would recommend first timers go for the fleshiest spot they can.

Sitting may be uncomfortable for a bit! :haha: :funny2:

You may laugh but it's true.
The most painful spots to get a tattoo is where there's the least flesh; ie spine, top of hands, top of feet, etc. The 2nd worst are the areas that don't come into a lot of "outside" contact, such as the inside of your upper arm.
Somewhere on the internet there's a great color chart that shows the tattoo pain levels.
-
I've never had an affinity toward guys with an over abundance in tattoos. It depends on the location of them, size, coloring, etc though for me to be turned off by them. Then again, some guys with tattoos are kind of hot and I, too, want a few someday. I also get turned off by piercings unless its earrings in both ears which, albeit, is a little weird.

I understand to have 1-2 tatoos but the whole body is nuts
-
I find them hot, but I do keep thinking what they would look like when one is 70, not so hot.
-
I do really want a tattoo, but my work strictly ban employees with tattoo and piercing (for man). Maybe someday I'll have a small tat in hard-to-find-spot ;D

got my first tat at around 14y/o…my newest at 50y/o...
At 14 thought 50 was ANCIENT and now at 50 thinks 70 ain't even close to the end - go figure.
Ink is about the story of one's life and experience; the same as a written journal or diary. I figure I got enough skin left for at least another 30-50 yrs worth of some people/exploits to commemorate.
Best thing: Unless you already know me: to know the FULL story behind the ink, you'll have to buy the memoir I pen right b4 I die! (my kids will be happy it adds to the inheritance)
To ink or not to ink, that is the question!

Tattoos forever :cool2:
