I think it all goes down to personal preferences and "other" variables. Not all gay guys like to date tall men. Personally, I like mine taller since I'm short but some of my friends like their dates shorter or with the same height.

As a 5'9" top, I generally don't look for guys taller than me. But, I absolutely do love topping a bottom who happens to be taller than me. All mey serious relationships have been with taller guys, but it wasn't motivated by their height. There's just something in the power exchange dynamic that works for me knowing that he has to look down at me while calling me SIR, or there's the control rush that I get watching a taller guy on his knees sucking me off.

I guess it depends if I want to be bottom or top. If I'm bottom, then sure, a taller, and preferably more muscular, guy. If i wanted to be top then someone my size or shorter.

I just feel safer around taller chubby guys.
I have childlike personality (and face :p), so i love to have someone older to protect me from danger out there. I'm the oldest child in my family. Sometimes i just wonder how its like to have older brother.Well, i have a younger sister. And i'm suck at being older brother hahahaha.
But, shorter guys than me is ok too. I don't really mind about height and bed role. As long as we can get along, i'm ok.

To be honest, I've dated a guy who is a taller than me and I guy who is shorter than I am. The taller guy was a total bottom, so oddly it was really hot and cute having this taller guy (only by a few inches) want to just bury himself in my arms and chest, yet he was too big to do it. lol The shorter guy, current bf, is perfectly fine. I am 6'3" about 1.90. I am 36 and always concider tall, I had a big issue with that when I was younger cause I was always tallest in school and was bullied for that, but a lot of younger guys today are taller so I don't feel that I stand out so much in a crowd. I don't care so much for a persons length, but the latest guy I was seeing for a while was 1.89. But my first boyfriend was 1.75. There has only been one guy I slept with who has been taller than me and he was 1.97. The reason I even know that was cause I did mention that it was one of the few times I can stand tall and kissing him… That is probably the main problem with shorter guys, and that I can't have their jeans and mostly no other clothes either... I mean what is the fucking reason with same sex relationships if you can't borrow your BF:s clothes... (And I like when he uses my clothes to...)

I generally love dating people who are much taller than me. For some reason, the size difference between being my mere 5'5" as compared to for example my ex's 6'8" seems to be a turn on for some reason.

If you had asked me a year ago I'd have said that height was never a factor for me until I was having a 3 some with a friend, I never met the 3rd guy until they day we were going to hook up. When he arrived my mate opens the door and in walks this 6ft 7 stocky built guy, I found it quite a turn on when I was sucking him off to see this tall masculine man towering over me.
So yea tall men do it for me but I think they also need to have a stocky or beefy build to go with it, I don't find the slimmer or normal build tall men a turn on what so ever.
