What are invites for?

My profile says i can exchange my seed bonus for 1 invite, I don't know what they are for, however.

Invites allow members which are Power User to invite friends to join GayTorrent.ru when inscription isn't open. When members gain Power User status, they get 4 free invitations.
That means they serve you nothing at the moment, because you haven't Power User status and registration is open, no invitation needed.
