Did you follow all of the steps? Including re-downloading the torrent file and making sure you save it to the exact place where you downloaded the full video file so that it will check and begin seeding? Also, sometimes it takes a little while before your file begins to seed. It has sometimes taken more than 15 minutes for my files to begin seeding.

You are right - snatched is the number of completed downloads. Views are the number of times that people have clicked through to the torrent page and Hits are the number of times the torrent file has been downloaded.

I think by "this" the user is referring to our site and torrents…. In response to that I suggest uTorrent Mac or even Transmission to download your torrents. If I'm not mistaken, Transmission should come with the Mac OS by default.

If you create a torrent to share the content of a folder (directory), that folder name, it's sub-folders structure & names and files places, names & content must remain intact. You must direct the download to the folder which contains the folder from which the torrent was created (1 level up). As remark, you can add files to the folders not present in the torrent's file list.

Thank you for the tutorial.  It's good to know someone has it working.  Unfortunately not for me. I first ran into trouble when I had to press CNTRL_SHIFT_I.  I figured in SeaMonkey, I opened the Data Manager from the Tools menu, and got this information and pasted it into the fields as shown.  But unfortunately I got errors when trying to load any of the links. • How To: Search For a Duplicate Torrent Before Uploading a New Torrent

There are two answers to this. 1/ The easy answer on the technical aspect: Just enter a new search text into the "Search" box, change other settings if felt necessary and it the "Search / Refresh" button. 2/ The more difficult on what search terms to enter and options to choose: That is basically what this guide together with the tips of users having posted in this topic try to explain. So I suggest you start to read the guide if you haven't yet. Some hints for search terms: Use the movie title only, without studio, omit the apostrophe ' and it's 's (means if the title says "The Owner's Boner" search for "The Owner Boner" Search for actor names and only the actor names, no "," , "&" or "and" or "'s" (the names may be in the description, not the movie title) Use the studio name only, omit words in it like "Studios", "Video", "Productions", "Entertainment", "Pictures", etc .., sort by size For Asian movies, with often variable translations of the non Latin alphabet titles, a search in the approbate categories (Asian, Chubbies, Bear, BDSM, … ; one at a time) should be done, sorted by size, then going to the size and look to that torrent's descriptions if the same, e.g. compare number of bytes and images Don't forget to search all categories by selecting no category. –--- Remarks: While torrent review the staff can make only a quick search and expect the uploader to have done multiple searches before. Unfortunately we find much too many duplicates with easy first search attempts. However, by practising we develop a "feeling" what search terms are likely to find a duplicate The staff uses the exact same search you got, we don't have a more advanced search tool. It is only the experience to use it, which makes the difference and this guide was made to share that experience.

@Netti: I'm not sure if it's allowed to post or mention, but there is a free program out there called Directory Printer.  Its Fantastic!!!  The features allow you to print only those things you want. There are a lot of free programs offered here, but here's the link to Directory Printer. hxxp://www.karenware.com/powertools/ptdirprn.asp If I'm not suppose to post this type of thing, please delete this post.  I just figured since its free and open source it would be ok. Thanks for the program, will try it out
