Reminds me when I was a kid watching an Elvis movie. He jumped in a pool and when he came out of it, his hair was perfect, and of course, with gel. I thought: "that can't be right". And then I keep searching continuity errors in movies/tv shows. They ALWAYS screw it up with hair.

If you make it through the mess that is Asylum than I think you might find Coven a little more cohesive at the very least. Also, although I do love me some Jessica Lange, especially that scene she steals in Murder House from off camera, I mean come on, she steals the scene from the actors in it while only appearing in voice, kudos.  (Full disclaimer:  I love that Blue Sky movie she deserved the oscar for).  And her musical number in Asylum was the highlight of the season for me.  What you will miss not watching Coven, which I imagine you must be getting from Asylum is the full on supernova trajectory of Lily Rabe.  Seeing her Asylum & then Coven performance is I know think of the Horror Stories as her vehicle & not Lange's.

Alright, just so that if we ever meet in a dark alley I'll feel it's cause we are doing the nasty and not that your about to do something nasty I'll say Waldo is my least favourite episode.  I still have nothing nice to say about Merit Points but at least I have elevated it slightly from bottom for your benefit

Oh definitely, Finn Wittrock is probably the best part of the season. He's been so committed to acting batshit insane.

Under the Drama category:  I just finished binge watching Manhattan.  Very enjoyable and look forward to season 2. Didn't hurt that Ashley Zuckerman was easy on my eyes. [image: 82304_072714-Manhattan-TV-600.jpg]

The first time I watched that episdoe I drifted off during my first viewing but woke up because there was silence and assumed the show was over.  Instead I had woken up during this scene and thought I was in Inception. [image: 82277_titsnphoebe.jpg]

@Minerboh80: @forgetjack: It is a miniseries….. No. It is an anthology series and some theories have stated that the seasons might share a small connection. Yeah, Ryan Murphy confirmed that they're all connected apparently. The miniseries/movie category in the Emmy's have been a little strange, especially lately; British TV series such as Luther and Sherlock have made their way into those categories in spite of their being ongoing shows that should be under Drama, and Fargo, like American Horror Story, is another "miniseries" that's getting a second season. Meanwhile, True Detective was pushed by HBO into Drama instead of miniseries in spite of being similar in approach to AHS and Fargo.

Moffat needs to take a break.  I think he's stretched to thin to be honest.  He wrote some of my all time fave episodes (The Girl in The Fireplace & Blink) & I enjoyed his first season as showrunner.  Also somewhat to his credit is the fact that Matt Smith is probably my fave doctor now (sorry Tom but hey your appearance in The Day of The Doctor stole that episode). Last season I started vocally expressing my dislike.  This season I have just stopped watching.  I tried to watch the first episode 3 separate times & fell asleep during each watch.  I left the room for the second episode to, wait for it, do the dishes.  The third episode having a Robin Hood theme meant I didn't even check it out.  I read a glowing review for the fourth (putting it on par with Blink) but I think I need some space before I attempt it. I also couldn't get past the first episode of the latest season of Sherlock.
