@guilhrsme: @raphjd: Her biggest crime to Trumptards is that she HAS A VAGINA. Those redneck men can't deal with a woman in charge and those redneck women have to do what their husbands tell them to do. I don't like her because she's a feminazi and panders into identity politics. Don't use the term "feminazi", it's offensive to the woman's struggle. Why should he care? He's not a woman or fucking a woman. (I assume)

@amicusets: Do you realize how polls work, and how they decide which demographics voted which way? If you don't then you probably quit trying to use "demographics" as an argument for why you think only stupid people voted for Trump. I did NOT mean Korea. I was repeating Rep. Waters's claims. So, you are a constitutional law expert, that thinks the EO was unconstitutional? What brings you to that conclusion considering I have yet to read a single expert opinion that thinks that. For one thing, the constitutionality has yet to be argued in any court, and if you are referencing CA9's decision not to stay the TRO, I would like to remind you that CA9 is consistently one of the tope 2 circuits overturned by the SCOTUS, but please, enlighten us all on the constitutional law that you are apparently more versed in than the vast majority of experts in the field. Demographics do not change based upon polls, polls that sample populations can. This is extremely basic statistics… If you do not understand the difference, I can not help you. Okay, I see what you're saying but; you can't mix quotations and your own statements and be credible. The quote was "And the fact that he is wrapping his arms around Putin while Putin is continuing to advance into Korea." Your failure to either quote the (potentially) misspoken statement or indicate the statement was misspoken is your responsibility, I read what you wrote. Your statement is just as incorrect as the statement Maxine Waters made. Also, you accusing somebody of being ignorant when you fail to use quotations properly is comical… Since you didn't quote her, you just made the same mistake. I don't even understand why you would bring this up when Donald has said things like: "Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down. And I saw the greatest people I've ever seen in action." Not to mention, that he has repeatedly made up words and don't even get me started on Sean Spicer, who is probably going to be out a job soon, or Kellyanne Conway referring to nonexistent terrorist attacks. If you want to argue they are all ignorant, sure I completely agree. Something tells me you didn't think your argument through very carefully. 3)It appears you have not read the ruling, I suggest you go read the ruling yourself: https://cdn.ca9.uscourts.gov/datastore/opinions/2017/02/09/17-35105.pdf I'll remind you that "the opinions you have read" do not represent all opinions and there were certainly many who did not agree, but I realize, Googling the information would require you to leave your comfort zone, which you obviously have no plans on doing. It's unlikely that SCOTUS would even hear the case. The solution is quantification, it's easy to evaluate the legality of a binary order. An order of the same effect be easily achieved by dramatic restrictions and reductions. Trump should give up (sounds like he is) and rewrite the order, preferably into separate orders. I'm totally for restricting the flow of migrants from countries in the middle east, which is where the majority of the terrorists are and have historically come from. Cherry picking out a handful of countries and then blaming Obama is not how that should have been handled. I think people know Obama isn't the president anymore. The US is going to be in a bad situation in a decade when companies like Google automate cars and basically everything else. I think it's a wonderful idea to start to limiting immigration now before the job market gets completely taken over by robots. If you think the percentage of people not participating in the job market is high now, just wait… https://data.bls.gov/timeseries/LNS11300000 I hope you understand that the unemployment numbers are complete horseshit... This is a real issue... Immigration needs to get heavily restricted across the board and the illegals need to go... This Muslim crap is a total distraction from what needs to happen.

@YoungGun: alol biased much?  I was simply posting on a quick google research about the topic not trying to make some political point.  I cited a source and you didn't.  I never said these online articles were incredibly vetted facts or examples of statistical perfection.  Let's try to have a civil conversation instead of resorting to partisan mudslinging k?  Also if you read my other post, I already said that California seceding would be bad for California and the USA, so stop assuming too much just because I'm bringing up ideas outside your current opinions.  Sheesh. As for your claims on meats and grains, where did you get that idea?  A simple google search seems to indicate that California has no such deficit on those areas. Defensive much? Partisan mudslinging? lol.  I just wanted to see if anyone would dare to post some data (good data) that validated their claims.  You did…but still you need to learn to choose your sources carefully. And of course I don't need to give a source, since I'm not stating facts.  It's just my opinion. And our conversation was being pretty civil, better than at least the name callings and whatnots that are slung in this particular subforum. And I'm from Mexico, so I'm neither a Democrat nor a Republican. (Mexico taking Cali in? LOL I bet that if Mexico dared to propose that, California would freak out and cease with their secession idea)

@royalcrown89: It's so hilarious when people compare the polls from the 2016 election to the polls reading the public's approval on #45. You cannot compare because asking someone who they will vote for is entirely different than asking someone if they approve or disapprove of #45 on his current job in office. You're right.  I  think even his voters expected him to do a lousy job.  They didn't care.  They would gladly sacrifice America and their freedom to keep someone with a vagina out of the oval office.

The selfish part of me is glad that this immigration battle is happening because the more time they spend working on that the less time they have to do things that impact me directly.

@aadam101: Anyway, I'm off to a benefit for the victims of Bowling Green. Well, aren't you just a saint? This post doesn't reek of piousness and virtue signaling at all. Very subtle! What ever happened to people engaging in something because it was important to them? Why has complacent, first-world "activism" turned into an excuse for self-aggrandizing Instagram photo-ops? It's very difficult to take seriously anyone who has to convey their moral superiority to others by exclaiming how busy they are with "benefits" and other pointless gatherings of bored, pampered, lazy, guilt-ridden Westerners patting one another on the back. Particularly when it's clearly just an excuse for reactionaries and the uninformed to deflect scrutiny.

Yeah, he's a crap speaker.  He's not so bad when he has rehearsed script.  He's a pretty good writer though, even if nothing he says or writes can ever be trusted. I still don't understand why TYT hired this fraud.  Did they think that hiring him would give them street cred with blacks?  It was blacks who named him Talcum X.

@Spintendo: Sorry to disappoint you Henny Penny—but the sky is not falling.  This suggestion came about when a pregnant patient born anatomically female but who identifies as male did not wish to be called "mother" several times during his visit with clinicians. An advisory notice was circulated, gently reminding clinicians that these rare instances can occur, and suggested not using labels like mother when interacting with them. But 1 person requires a rule change? Will they add "attack helicopter" to the tick box list for sex?  If not, why not? Why won't the BMA bow down to me and tell everyone to refer to my hair color as  "similar to a sofa I once saw"?

@aadam101: But your premium isn't based on how many services you are using.  The risk adjustment process isn't taking into account the risk of each individual person.  Medical underwriting was eliminated under ObamaCare. African Americans account for a higher percentage of heart disease and diabetes cases.   Should we charge them more? Obviously, YES!

The best part about the Yates  issue is that Jeff Sessions asked her point blank two years ago if she was willing to go against the President (Obama) if she didn't agree  with him.  She gave a terrific answer and said yes and then she did exactly what Sessions and Republicans wanted her to do and it  got her fired.

I don't worry about conversion therapy.  I'm more concerned about his policies will hurt gays.  His lousy policies created an HIV outbreak of 200 people in rural Indiana when he defunded a Planned Parenthood that also happened to be this rural counties only free clinic and a needle exchange program.  People had nowhere else to go and a lot  of people couldn't get healthcare. I'm assuming mostly straight people given the high number of people in such a small county). These are poor people.  It's estimated this is going to cost the state of Indiana $100 million via Medicaid payments to pay for these peoples healthcare.  These Republicans "save" a few pennies only to spend millions cleaning up the mess.  It would have been MUCH cheaper to just give people the needles.  They literally cost pennies.

@amicusets: As polarized as the country is, and thanks to 24/7 news channels it is only going to get worse. The Democrats can obstruct for the next 2 years and see how that works in the mid-terms, but if you go out to middle-America, it won't end well for them. People can quote whatever poll they want, but let me tell you, outside of the coasts and metro areas, Trump's support is stronger than it was when he was elected. They aren't just happy with him, they are beyond thrilled. That doesn't look good for Democrats in red states in 2 years, especially if they look to be nothing but obstructionists. You are wrong about that.  The reason Trump won is because too many people though Trump would lose and they stayed home.  Plus Trump had those 3-5 million fraudulent votes. Next election the Republicans don't have a chance.  America will be such a mess by then.  The Republicans better get as much done as possible because they aren't going to have any real power again for decades after this.  It will take that long to clean up their mess.

That's terrible, Eridanos. I'm sorry you had to go through that. The pressure to conform and the fear of labels is much much stronger at that stage. Many guys at that age wouldn't have the strength or courage to break the peer pressure yet. I did keep one good friend who was experimenting with me, but we kept things quiet and were very careful with how we acted. But it does get better, at least in my experience- once I entered college. I went to a big university and made some great friends and finally managed to come out to the ones closest to me. They stood by me and there wasn't as much pressure or judgement as there was in high school.
