Granted, I do not wish to debate religion.  I do interfaith work and enjoy conversations but the idea that the only way that you will speak with someone whose experience is different than yours is by trying to force them into your opinion is not pleasant. One of the phrases I like from (English translations/interpretations of) the Quran is "Allah has made you separate peoples and nations so that you can learn from one another; not that you should despise one another."  I like hearing what the process of Lent means to a Christian and sharing what the process of the 49 days between Pesach (Leaving Egypt) and Shevuoth (Recieving the Torah) means to me.  If you're interested in civil conversation, let's talk.

Climate activists are actually anti-white racists. Greta's true agenda came out about 2 months ago when she blamed all the world's ills on white men.    Ok, true, she is just a puppet being used by others as a shield for their agenda. AOC in some committee hearing (video on YouTube) said that white people are responsible for all the world's pollution.  Not surprisingly, the entire non-white panel agreed with her.

Sadly, it seems that there aren't many "decent" people on the left. Bernie refuses to condemn violent acts by his supporters. MSM justifies violence by the left or they simply ignore incidents of violence by liberals.

@JohnAllenson: If it were more than a fringe, mainly from people even older than I am, i'd worry about the infighting during a time where there is a very strong anti-LGBT worldwide movement. It's disappointed that there are people who don't know our past and don't understand our present but I'm going tom keep working with the groups that are inclusive and I'll just ignore the ones who aren't. There won't be any infighting because gays, lesbians and bisexuals are simply becoming apathetic and moving on with their lives. I support the trans community but I see a failure in filtering out the bad apples and the nonsense, as well as a general lack of willingness to reconcile.

I think that a WWIII isn't possible since the neccessary conditions for WWI and WWII no longer exist.  There were alliances that pulled in nation after nation until most of the world was involved.  The USA has effectively dismantled its relationship with NATO since 9.11.  Iran is a low to mid power who couldn't win a war against Saddam Hussein's Iraq.  There's no country that has treaties with Iran that would support it in a war.  China and Russia won't like the USA fighting so close to their borders but won't engage militarily. To put it mildly Iran will not do well in a war against the USA.  But there will be a lot of harm done to the USA as well.

Have you seen the videos?  I have.  They are freely available to watch on YouTube. The video of the small outside corridor was pretty bad compared to the ones on the inside of the building. BDS is a violent group, as are most "liberal" groups. Why was the jewish group banned, but BDS not banned from York U over this?
