@raphjd The tax money they get is in the form of research grants and student loans. They are a privately-held university. They do not receive government (that would be State money, and they are in CT) funding for operations, buildings, or anything else. As opposed to somewhere like the Georgia Institute of Technology. Also a leader in government grants and research but, unlike Yale, Ga Tech is a Public University - a part of the University System of GA. Taxpayers of GA pay large amounts of the money spent at Ga Tech for buildings, upkeep, professors salaries, and the like. In exchange, students from the State of GA pay lower tuition than those from other locations. (Forgetting scholarships).

@bi4smooth It's not quite how you described it. The 1st image is him being a preachy assclown, while the 2nd picture is him justifying not doing what he is preaching about. Everyone but him has to save the environment because he's special. Preaching about the need to save the environment via air travel, then using private jets is hypocritical. I didn't complain about the money being spent. YES, it was California's Governor Gavin Newsome, who just happened to be supreme swamp monster Nancy Pelosi's nephew. Lot's of other politicians have violated their own lockdown rules.

Biden has flip flopped on so many things already its kind of scary. No wait... Its Terrifying. The sheer number of executive orders he has signed already is staggering and its literally just to "Undo" everything trump tried to accomplish. Trump was an Imperfect Avatar for the rage the people of this country were trying to express. This push for a $15/hr Minimum wage will destroy our economy. Your buying power has been significantly reduced and yet many of you cheer for it. How many of you know what "The Great Reset" is? Have you heard the phrase "You will own nothing and be happy about it?" Those of you who Cheer for the liberal left and think woke culture will save the world need to realize that the more you empower the woke mob the quicker they will come for you.
