@bi4smooth said in Gen. US Grant's prediction ca. 1875...: You certainly are a "throw the baby out with the bath water" kind of person, aren't you? No but I know when to quit and start over. I am not the kind of person who keeps doing the same thing over and over again hoping for a different out come. I have to wonder - within the constraints of Grant's admonition, are you a "patriot with intelligence" or "superstitious, ambitious, and/or ignorant"? I'll leave the "gentle reader" to decide... You have been around Liberals to long, When you have no response you stoop to personal attacks.

That is your opinion not a "fact". Trumpites again is not a word and what does Trump have to do with Tucker Carlson? Carlson is not even a supporter of Trump. Carlson sometimes go a bit far but most of what he says ends up being truth unlike the MSM that will lie about anything that supports their brief. Maybe if you watched his show instead of reading the MSM cliff notes you would expand your knowledge a bit. I can therefore... legally... claim and infer that they are not "reasonable" people! Are we back to the Hillary Clinton Deplorables comment? Attorneys try every angle to get their client's point across. I think the Judge dismissed the case based on the merits not by any single statement of the attorney. Follow the link - the Judge's rationale for dismissing the suit was well laid out: to bring a libel case successfully, you have to show that a reasonable person would believe them! Thus, you cannot sue the town fool for libel! (That's a little "closer to home" than I intended, but if the shoe fits!) LOL Hillary wasn't ever prosecuted for her "deplorables" comment (except in the court of public opinion) - at least not that I know of! So, "This ain't that"

@raphjd said in Facebook uses 1st Amendment in lawsuit: @bi4smooth Why are you calling Facebook's TOS a "public relations statement"? There TOS says that fac checks are "accurate and well researched" which is why there is no right to appeal. At the same time, they claim that their fact checks are simply OPINION. Obviously, as you are an agent of the CCP/DNC, you love Facebook since they are doing your bidding. I have no skin in that game: I have no Facebook (or any other Meta) account. "Terms of Service" statements are not legal arguments! Let's drop this... you can't get past the blanket statement: Facebook = bad so there is no point. If they came out against child molesters, you'd find a negative spin, so there is no point in taking this farther...

@bi4smooth said in France’s Macron Stuns As He Declares Un-Vaxxed ‘Not Citizens’.: ...The stupid statement - which was not an official declaration, just something said... It would be amusing if someone in France responded to him, "But M. Macron, your statement was irresponsible, and thus by your own logic you are not a citizen of the Republic, and thus you are not eligible to be President."

@raphjd Rittenhouse must sue National Geographic for libel, slander, defamation. I thought National Geographic did nothing but post photos of naked black women? That magazine served as porn for those who could not buy porn magazines.

@geobear40 As always, liberal wokeness is racist in the guise of being non-racist. Blacks are too stupid or whatever excuse liberals are using today, to get an ID to vote but have no problem getting a vaccine passport.

My concern is the race to the bottom with all this racism of low expectations shit. It reminds me of Charles Manson. He believed that blacks were physically superior to whites and would win a race war, but were too stupid to look after themselves so they needed him and his family to rule over them.

@geobear40 The teachers, regardless of race, gender, etc, have the same pay scale. From the stuff I read/saw on this, mentoring is part of being a senior teacher, to help out the newer teachers. Until now, there was no extra pay for mentoring and that is still true for white teachers.

@orhaqi123 I think you have the right idea. The MSM is trying to pull the party away from the Progressive side and more to the Moderate. The MSM is the propaganda arm of the party and the lunatics' making the policy can't hear anything in their Liberal echo chamber. Liberals still think Americans support them.

@bi4smooth said in Watch how fast the southern border closes: As for this ridiculous comment, consider a similar question: If we don't allow criminals to have guns, why are so many felons killing people? Gee, Einstein, maybe illegal immigrants aren't following the law? You think? (HINT: the solution is in the name: illegal immigrants - we're not LETTING them into the country, they're coming in illegally! Catch and release has been going on since Biden opened the border. They are being processed thru DHS & the border patrol and put on buses and planes and sent all over the conutry. Why not test them and vaccinate them?

@geobear40 Don't forget that Ms Feng Feng also absolutely knew that Kyle Rittenhouse killed 3 black men in Illinois. Despite his entire set of "facts" being completely wrong, he still called me stupid for stating the real facts of the case. He got that from narrative-driven liberal "news". My guess is that he got his news from Joy "I was hacked" Reid, Salon, and Slate (and some others) who lied and spread this bullshit narrative. He claims to be a conservative, but he only likes RINOs and Pelosi Republicans.

@geobear40 said in Are the appoved Covid Kits made in USA or China?: Show me the lie and I will correct it if necessary. https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-approves-first-covid-19-vaccine The Pfizer vaccine, now called Comirnaty, is fully approved by the US FDA, and has been since August 23, 2021 - hardly "breaking news"... and 2-days prior to the press-release you quoted. I'm not sure how more definitive I can be - that's the FDAs actual press release, on their own website... But look - we can stop arguing this point... this is, for all intents and purposes, a religion for you... Truth be told, there is no authority on Earth that could convince you that the COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective... and that's OK - I don't think every single human needs to take the vaccine! But a large majority DO need to take the vaccine - and for 2 reasons: First and foremost, for their own protection. Vaccinated people still get COVID-19, but they have much "easier" cases, seldom requiring hospitalization - much less dying of the disease. (This is similar to EVERY vaccine: the MMR vaccine, by example, can't stop the measles virus from getting into your body, but it CAN make the infection minor and almost never life-threatening!) Secondly, by vaccinating LARGE proportions of the population, we can potentially END the threat of this virus once and for all. But, so long as large segments of the population continue to provide "ample opportunities for incubation and proliferation" of the virus, it will continue to thrive - and mutate - endangering all of us. EDIT: Let me DIRECTLY refute the primary argument your ridiculous link makes (it claims the FDA approval is for a different vaccine). In the FDA's own words: "Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the first COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccine has been known as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, and will now be marketed as Comirnaty (koe-mir’-na-tee), for the prevention of COVID-19 disease in individuals 16 years of age and older. The vaccine also continues to be available under emergency use authorization (EUA), including for individuals 12 through 15 years of age and for the administration of a third dose in certain immunocompromised individuals." So, the vaccine was approved (fully approved) for use in people 16 and older, but the EUA is still the authorization for using the same vaccine for children ages 12-15. I'm sorry if that is confusing to you, but it makes perfectly clear sense to me... Prior to full approval, Pfizer could not market the vaccine, and so there was no approved marketing name... now, it has been approved, so the marketing name can be used... I'm not confused by that...

@bi4smooth Ms Feng Feng got her medical degree. How sweet. Ms Feng Feng supports liberal MSM and social media controlling the "facts" even though Zuck the Cuck admitted in court filings that their "facts" are just lowly opinions. Let's not forget that Ms Feng Feng got her Kyle Rittenhouse "facts" from liberal media and thought that Kyle Rittenhouse killed 3 black men in Illinois.
