That's a nice place, have been there a few times. Being a country area is it ok to be gay? Are you 'out'?

No I'm not publicly out. Just to those who need to know. Family and friends and the like.

It is a nice place however can be a little socially backwards, no such thing as a night life unlike the coast. Brisbane is good but its a fair hike and I would rather head down your way to go clubbing. And I'm currently between jobs and finding it so hard to get another job. If you aren't a farmer or a miner specialized in CSG you haven't got a chance out here.

Other than all that. Really nice. I like the quiet life usually.

I've actually lived in Australia for 5 months during your winter back in 2012 so I have some idea as to how cold it can get haha!

Yeah I know it can be hard in the country and I understand. Also with the job situation that's why I left my small town also.

Where abouts were you living then Ozyme?
I wouldn't call where i live a small town because it is just one estate in the middle of no where, the next town to us is about 15 minutes drive away. But as i said, love the quietness!

I personally went the other way, was living closer to brisbane, heaps more work available, but its so much cheaper to live out here, but harder to find work. Total catch 22.

hey Kurtsam36 - where did you stay when you came over here because where i live it could hardly be called cold any time in the year!
I used to live in melbourne when i was younger, now that place gets cold. But it also gets hotter than up here too, and usually it takes about a day to move from one extreme to the other. Fun times!
