You need a PC, Mac, or laptop/notebook.

technically you can torrent on mobile but I don't recommend it.

I would prioritize saving up for a computer.

Torrenting requires an active internet connection. This means you will be using your data, and the downloading may be interrupted if your phone has limited or no ability to run background apps.

The size of files is also a consideration. In addition to counting against data usage for your plan, the capacity of your device may be a limiting factor. The kind of phones that have the storage capacity for lots of video files (1TB+) are at a price (1,000UD+) where you can buy entire PC setup + accessories with money to spare.

You do not need a complex or cutting edge computer to run torrents and you can buy a basic computer to run torrents for an 550USD or less + whatever the cost for your internet service. Buying an older/used machine may cost even less (do not keep the hard drive if you do).

@diabangical I'm from Brazil, and here we don't have internet packages; our internet is unlimited for a fixed price every month, and building a PC or having a laptop isn't an option for me right now.

I think it would be very possible to accomplish this entirely using mobile... albeit using android based or chrome based devices have an easier time about it.. iOS requires a lot of workarounds but still possible...

The thing is... downloading torrents is easily done on mobile... but to upload and seed torrents require memory, processor speed, storage for torrents to seed from, & good bandwidth (factoring uploading & downloading speeds), access to a VPN... after all, this is one of the goals of this community is to share via torrents and maintain a good ratio... modern phones with good connections, a fast processor, and lots of storage can accomplish this... a tablet may even be easier if PC desktop is not an option...

There are a few tutorials on YouTube that describe the process for strictly mobile users... look them up and see if what they describe is something you'd be interested in doing...

I'm glad you're asking this question because it shows you want to be a productive member of this community...

                Hope this helps you...

                Regards -

@worf I have an iPad (the only iOS device I own), but it's not very up-to-date, although it has storage
