UK hard right (not far right) conservative Ann Widdecombe, 78yo, was violently murdered in her home.
Typical of the left, they are celebrating her murder.
While I don't agree with Ann's staunch Catholic beliefs (she famously left the Church of England, aka the Anglican Church, because it was too liberal when it allowed women vicars, the last straw for her), I agree with her on most things.

I remember back in 2015/16 when anti-white racism and violence was at it's peak. Leftists, including white leftists, spouted their joy over the violence.
On this site (P&D forum) I tried to get leftists to condemn the violence, but they refused. Eventually I convinced a few to publicly condemn it. Not surprisingly, the fellow leftists shit all over them for condemning the violence.
When I had had enough of the bullshit, I said that conservatives need to start treating leftists the same way leftists have been treating us. Of course, the same leftists who constantly celebrated the violence against conservatives were pissed that I would call for conservatives to do the same to leftists. They claimed that I was advocating for genocide while engaging in their mental gymnastics to defend their stance.
Some leftists would follow me, and others would downvote every post we made, regardless of the topic or what was said. They downvoted my post where I condemned genocide. Since each person was limited to 20 votes per day per person they were voting on, they would reach the cap within a couple of minutes.

The innocent guy, the local 26yo handyman, who was originally arrested, was a "white British national male". The new guy is simply listed as a "28yo male." The new guy is from Rotherham, a notorious muslim area.
It's strange.
The murder was clearly targeted. The killer left his house in Rotherham at about 7am, according to the security cam (not if it's his or the neighbors). He had the murder weapon hidden in his t-shirt when he left. He drove 300 miles to Ann's house.
At 11:45am, Ann had a phone call to set up Zoom for her TV appearance at 12:45pm. The phone call lasted about 15 minutes. She was last seen alive on Zoom at about 12:00pm. If Ann was seen alive after this, the police haven't said so.
The police say that Ann was murdered at about 12:30pm.
After the murder, the killer drove the 300 miles back home to Rotherham.
Ann's house is on a single-lane country road that dead-ends at a farm.
Clearly, the killer had to research Ann to find out where she lives, because it's not easy to find. I know the area, and it's nothing but poorly marked backroads.
IF it's not political, as the police claim, then what is it? Is the killer really that pissed off about her being on Dancing with the Stars and/or I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here?! Apparently, the killer said he knew nothing about Ann's appearance on the traveling antiques show.
The only thing that makes sense is that it's entirely political.

Senior officers were under pressure to explain why they so publicly ruled out terror or a political motivation.

Counter Terrorism Police, who are now (since Saturday) heading the investigation, have said (since this morning) that it's politically motivated terrorism.
Devon & Cornwall Police said, "It was in no way politically motivated". They also said it was not terrorism until Saturday, when they handed it over to CTP.
By definition, terrorism is politically motivated.
Then again, the police are far left, and we know the far left loves to change definitions to suit their agenda.

Police subsequently detained Westbrook.
Westbrook reportedly told officers the incident was a “big misunderstanding” and claimed the confrontation was part of a “scene” that Westbrook and the former partner had agreed to act out. The former partner denied agreeing to participate in any such activity, according to the records.
Westbrook previously served as vice chair of the Arizona Democratic Party and chair of the party’s LGBTQ Caucus. Westbrook also served on the board of Equality Arizona, an LGBTQ advocacy organization.
The 41-year-old activist has repeatedly sought elected office. Westbrook lost the 2018 Democratic special-election primary for Arizona’s 8th Congressional District to Hiral Tipirneni, receiving nearly 40% of the vote. Later that year, Westbrook lost a Democratic primary for the Arizona Senate.
Westbrook most recently competed in the five-candidate 2022 Democratic primary for two Arizona House seats in Legislative District 5, finishing fourth with 14.6% of the vote.
