Seeing a lot of uploads without initial seed get removed within minutes.

Not sure if this is a stalled issue, but seeing quite a few uploads without an initial seed getting deleted.
What exactly causes this stalled issue when someone is uploading?
I get it from time to time when downloading. Not often though.

@Xanthraxxx after someone adds a torrent it stays invisible until they start seeding, but if they close their client or stop the torrent it will become invisible again. Doesn't mean it's deleted from the tracker yet.
Often times the uploaded faces a few issues, because they messed something up, or just don't really know what they're doing, and end up deleting the torrents themselves and re-uploading. I remember one guy who uploaded and the same torrent 6 times, I was so pissed.
As for stalled downloads, even when there's at least one active seeder, peers might be unable to reach one another altogether, or be limited by the client's user preferences and rules.
But sometimes it's also related to tracker announcements, the number of peers sometimes pile up and no one is able to connect until the seeder's client reannounces to the tracker.

ianfontinell has it exactly right. Nothing is being deleted within minutes. A torrent only shows in browse and search while the tracker sees at least one seeder, and that check runs every minute. So if the uploader's client stalls or closes, the upload drops out of the listings a minute later, but it still exists on the tracker and comes right back the moment they seed again. Actual removal only happens when an upload never gets its initial seed for more than 3 days. So if your fresh upload vanished: start or fix the seeding in your client and it will reappear on its own.
