@trkr4life Stop creating anything. You have already created it. Creating anything else just confuses things.
Does the torrent you just pasted a partial image of have any comments on it? Especially one from me?
-

-
yes there are

-
@trkr4life OK. Weird that your URL link is different to what I'm seeing, but it seems to be taking us to the same place.
OK. You have created the torrent. You have created the listing. Don't create anything else. The issue now is getting qB to know where to look for the file you created the torrent for.
Did you set your qB preferences to not automatically start torrent when they're added? When you clicked on the .torrent file you had downloaded, did it instantly start in qB, or did a dialogue page pop up that you needed to OK?
-
yes i set it so it didnt start automatically when i clicked on it it stalled so i clicked on force start then it downloaded immediately!
-
@trkr4life No, that's not what I was asking. When you clicked on the .torrent did it immediately appear in qB, or did a dialogue page - like the one I posted earlier - pop up?
-
no it immediately appeared
-
Right. You need that dialogue page. First delete the .torrent listing in qB. Please assume I always mean JUST the listing, not any files Always make sure that's UNchecked, unless I ever say otherwise.
-
When you've done that, in qB, click Tools (1) which will open a dropdown menu (Not shown) Select "Preferences" from that then click "Downloads (2). Ensure "Do not start..." (3) is UNchecked. Once it is, click OK in the bottom right corner.

-
i deleted the torrent i clicked of the file in my folder and now it says this

-

-
@trkr4life You haven't deleted the torrent. You've tried to add it again.
Highlight "downloaded" in the torrent list, then right click while hovering over it. Then click Remove. You will se this:

-
there is nothing in the list!

-
@trkr4life Cool. Give me a minute. I'm having a conversation with my AI friend, cos the wording / action for the popup don't match!
-
OK. The wording there is wrong, but don't let that confuse you. It needs to be UNchecked.
-
So set that so it's UNchecked. Then, just to be sure, download the .torrent from the site again. Then launch it.
Just that! Don't do anything else. Then tell me what you're seeing in qB.
-
It should be this:

-
this is what i get

-
@trkr4life That message is what you get when you're trying to add a torrent that is already in the list.
Do you really have no torrents in qB at all at the moment? Or are you filtering them somehow?
-
ok i got rid of it
