@blablarg18 said in "Signal app" controversy - what to know:

      it was a major fuck-up

      No.

      What bad thing happened? Nothing!

No one died (who didn't have it coming).

Even you, conceded that. (I said it, and you included it implicitly in "All true")

Regrettably you are just further illustrating my point.

"It was a major fuck-up, but fortunately nothing bad happened" is not the same as "it wasn't a fuck-up at all". If I as a sysadmin accidentally expose an internet-connected database server without any password protection then that's a major fuck-up on my part, even if no bad actors got their hands on the data.

As for the "all true", you conveniently left out the second bit: "no doubt". Meaning: I don't know if it's true but I have no reason to doubt it so I believe you at your word.

Really disappointing to see you descend to these bad-faith arguments. I know you're intelligent enough to do better.

@Rapsey-0 Regrettably you are just further illustrating my point.

"It was a major fuckup, although admittedly nothing happened"..... is pathetic. Self-contradiction.

Even with premise that it was unplanned (again I do not agree as yet)......still........ NOTHING. HAPPENED. One calls it "minor incident" or "trivial episode needing policy clarification".

        🤣 🤣 🤣

omg what twisty bullshit that ends up as

for anonymous chat, ONLY 2 alternatives....................

        either

        1. you do agree / concede my premise in this discussion right now, or
        2. you don't, because you have other information to contribute right now

...and here it's # 1 clearly..... and you admit it, great, thank you, EXCEPT, you still want to tack extra words onto your admission as if somehow I had been dodgy to grasp that it is # 1.

Really disappointing to see you descend to such garbage attempts to save face. I hope you're intelligent enough to do better.

Another day, another Jeffrey Goldberg lie. 2 really.

CIA DIRECTOR RATCLIFFE: "Yesterday I spent 4 hours answering questions from senators [ed: wtf? on this nothingness?] - as a result of that article intimating that I transmitted classified information. Those messages were revealed today - I did not transmit classified information."

"The reporter, who I don't know, intentionally intended it to indicate that [ed: lie 1]. That reporter also [ed: lie 2] indicated I released the name of an undercover CIA operative. In fact, I released the name of my chief of staff, who is not operating undercover. That was deliberately false and misleading."

          prediction on track:

I don't see how anyone remembers this whole thing in a week

@Rapsey-0 when you see The Atlantic or Jeffrey Goldberg, always think "Oh dear, not them."

Goldberg invented "suckers & losers" hoax. Big Russia hoaxer. He lies often - mixed with just enough truth to pass Editor & Legal offices.

            Politico lies next:

            38516cc0-ecfd-4315-b77a-f725de321f96-image.png

IN FACT, there was an administration whose blunders were infinitely more - and nobody resigned or got fired.

            They were called, Biden.

In Afghanistan withdrawal they killed 13 of USA military without need.

Maths teachers say, 13 ratioed to 0 (here) is infinity more.

But nobody resigned or got fired, makes Politico wrong on facts.

Another day of, Trump haters show magic amnesia.

                    Now it's on Right. NRO:

Pete Hegseth Should Be Fired...It is inconceivable to me that -any other defense secretary- would survive such an incredible lack of judgment.

First: Signal "mistake" - if indeed it was a mistake & not purposeful - was from staffer of Mike Waltz. Hegseth fine.

Second: mistake without consequences. Nothing happened. Almost too clean.

                    Third: NOTHING. HAPPENED. 🤣

Fourth: Hegseth is BIG improvement over Lloyd Austin who

                    • wrecked USA military, with Woke & DEI. (Hegseth fixes it & that is what matters)

                    • that time Austin vanished for days, mysteriously. Which NR covered & ought to recall. (https://www.nationalreview.com/2024/01/lloyd-austin-going-awol-was-not-normal/ )

NR tries to re-litigate Hegseth confirmation. Pathetic. (for that confirmation tho, see https://community.gaytor.rent/topic/66768/pete-hegseth-circus )

NR are longtime NeverTrumper, "Lincoln Project" & K-street lobbyist....it takes little, to scratch their mask.

Not to be overlooked: Sean Davis, Mar 26.

Lost in the stupid Signal chatter is...we got to see dead-end neocon war pimp Jeffrey Goldberg pretend to be upset about...Middle East getting bombed.

                      🤣

But truthfully - to extend that point - reports have said, 50 civilians got killed in the attack. That, I do not like. 😞 Oh, it's typical when you bomb enemies. "Par for the course". But still bad. Me no like.

Narrator: But the "undercover agent" was only a known top official, and the "war plans" were vague, really nothing.

                        🤣

"But, muh Signalgate!" - More fake news from The Atlantic.

Last few days, libs made HUUUuuuuuuge thing of "Maryland father with protected status" wrongly, cruelly deported to El Salvador.

Umm.......he is MS-13. 🤣 The Atlantic & other libs failed to check.

Plus, illegal aliens are criminals to begin with. By definition.

as to "father": after years, he and his American babymama still choose not to marry, not even to help keep him in USA. She could probably visit him in El Salvador (prison).

                          09516eb2-64eb-47e8-b5cb-c7b16b0a73a1-image.png

"Error" was this: After many twists & turns, judge gave late instruction to deport him yes; just not to El Salvador. But he was sent to El Salvador.

I won't lose sleep over it.

Example of even when story is true, The Atlantic still lies.

                          "Maryland father" 🙄
