Carlos Yulo, Filipino Male Gymnast won Gold in the Men's Floor Exercise, the first ever for a Filipino Gymnast.
With other countries who are so used in getting Gold Medal in the Olympics like USA, GB, Russia, China and the likes, you very well know the feelings of seeing your country men receiving Gold Medal for the 2nd time (the first one was in Tokyo Olympic in Women's weight lifting) and hearing your National Anthem played at the awarding ceremony was really waterworks.

You can be the first to win for a floor exercise and the first to win for any gymnastics event or simply the first to win for the floor exercise but not the first to win a gymnastics gold.
