@manrmen-0 No one is gaslighting. The choreographer has stated clearly what his inspiration was: the gods on Mt. Olympus as it is the OLYMPICS. If people see the Last Supper, even though there are more than 13 people, and the one in the center is wearing the same headpiece as is in the original painting, that's on them. Perhaps they should expand their knowledge of art history. Even still, the choreographer still apologized if anyone took offense as that was NOT his intention. And I believe him. Because he is French. And if he really had intended to depict the Last Supper and people were offended by that, he wouldn't have given a merde
Despite all the explanations, FOX and other shithole media companies are still running with the lie. I've never seen gay people, like on this board, clutching their pearls like a bunch of village spinsters over something so banal. But people will believe any lie that fits their narrative, and constantly take the bait of focusing on meaningless "outrages," so that they can ignore real issues. The drag queen in the middle is wearing a "crown" like the ones seen in Orthodox paintings.
Giovanni Bellini, Jan van Bijlert, Nicolas Poussin, Hendrik van the Elder Balen, Abraham Bloemaert, Kessel, and some others have done a version.
Jan van Bijlert's version is the closest to DaVinci's Last Supper, while the rest are very different. The lack of the orthodox crown in Bijlert's painting is glaring compared to the thing at the Olympics.

Barbara Butch, the fat woman in the middle pretty much confirms its the last supper. Then backtracked when the outrage happened and went with the script of feast of Dionysius.
And there's no reason for Dionysius to be blue. He has always been presented as either bronze skinned or black as in mythology, he originated somewhere in the Nile.
The difference between those images of the simpsons cartoons, many tv shows copying the last supper is they're done in reference to their plot/storyline and wasn't as blasphemous as the one in the Olympics.
Even the trump one is just art from a random person, it's not on a global stage.
And even if you follow that train of thought, you're just exposing the fact that people have been disrespecting Christians for a very long time. This might just be the straw that broke the camel's back.
And frankly, I'm scared because this will radicalize people more and gays like me that just want to live, gets caught in the crossfire.
They purposely chose a layout that matched the last supper than the feast of Dionysius.
