X/Twitter SUPPORTS child safety bills. But Facebook, Google officially fight.

Facebook and Google/YouTube have always fought against this kind of law because it violates their free speech.

Not surprisingly, they love to throw shade at other social media outlets for being harmful to kids, even the ones that support protecting kids.

@raphjd The one time to limit Free Speech is, grownups trying to groom & addict kids. Elon gets that.

But in truth, I'd rather not have these bills.

I'd rather have widespread, fair enforcement of existing law on pedos - which would remove 80% of them from online & shock companies into voluntary child protection.
