        TYT seems to have been red-pilled.

          @lololulu19 I thought you people hated TYT?

          I can't stand Cenk Uygur. He, like Joe Scarborough, is a blowhard and feigns indignation often after getting the short end of the stick. It was a common view that gays in the military and the government posed security risks because of the risk of blackmail. As time has passed, and people no longer have to fear being outed, this has become less of an issue.

          How many Republicans supported Gay Marriage in 2008?

          Can you admit that people can change their opinions and that it is more important how they feel now than 16 years ago?

          "Republicans, who have consistently been the party group least in favor of same-sex marriage, show majority support in 2021 for the first time (55%). The latest increase in support among all Americans is driven largely by changes in Republicans' views.

          Democrats have consistently been among the biggest supporters of legal same-sex marriage. The current 83% among Democrats is on par with the level of support Gallup has recorded over the past few years. This could suggest that support for gay marriage has reached a ceiling for this group, at least for now. Meanwhile, support among political independents, now at 73%, is slightly higher than the 68% to 71% range recorded from 2017 to 2020."

            @jaroonn

            Even TYT showed that Biden lied about his stance on gay equality, especially marriage. Biden is a pathological liar.

            Repubs are the party that supposedly wants to "genocide" us, but which party was it that gave the US the 3 most homophobic laws the US ever had?

            I know you will go all crackhead crazy with your whataboutisms because that's what you do while getting bitchy if a conservative does it.

            I'll give you a hint on each one;

            1. broke the Constitution's Full Faith and Credit Clause
            2. created witch hunts in the military
            3. allows religious bigots to discriminate against us; still the law of the land

            One more hint, Bill Clinton signed them all into law.

            Killary was still against marriage equality until 2015/16 when Trump said he wasn't interested in the issue as it was the law of the land. Liberals still worshipped her, despite her clearly homophobic stance.

            Let's not forget that since 1971, the Dems have put LGB rights as part of their party platform. Even when they controlled the White House and both Houses of Congress, they failed to deliver.

              @raphjd Again....that's in the past. I am focused on what is happening now.

              Yes, Biden has lied. Trump lies all the time. Almost all politicians lie. I am more wholistic in my approach, and vote for people who support the causes I do.
