Race Baiting Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX) gets ass stomped in Houston mayor race

Congresswoman and race-baiter, Sheila Jackson Lee (my Congresswoman when I lived in Texas) got her ass handed to her by Texas State Senator John Whitmire, also a Dem.
The result of the race was 65% to 35%.
I don't care enough to find out how 2 Dems were in the runoff for the Mayorship, but it doesn't surprise me with Houston being so blue.
SJL used to be the Congresswoman of Montrose (gay area) and other connected mostly white neighborhoods. About 25 years ago, they redrew some of the districts, which ended up seeing SJL go from a mostly white area to a virtually all-black area.
