The riff here is Lavrentiy Beria, secret police chief in Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror.
Beria said "Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime.”
ALL Bragg's charges are secondary to (dependent on) a non-crime, an incident that USA "federal" authorities looked at & found 100% legal.
In effect, Bragg forgot to put down a crime.
He's Beria................. except incompetent.

Here is where Stephanie "Stormy Daniels" Clifford denies having done anything with Trump and thus, denies having been paid hush money for his personal benefit. (as opposed to some other entity's)
Reports vary, but she now says either that she was pressured into it by her former lawyer-manager - would that be Michael Avenatti? - or else that it was forged by Michael Cohen.
Because of the dumb mistakes (using her stage name in a court document? really?), it must be someone's forgery.
But in any event, it was "official" at the time & makes Bragg's key witnesses all unreliable.
