I wonder what the implications would be for someone asking a minor for pictures of themselves. Just plain pictures. The reason I wonder is because I have an adopted sister whom my dad's 2nd wife literally pimped out for dancing, modelling, commercials, cheerleading, etc. i guarantee that many of the people involved with these activities are pedophiles. Here is one example: a local library had a children's book club. Strangely, the children had to be aged 8 to 12, parents were not allowed to participate / supervise, they would spend the night sleeping in the library, and the program was run by an obese single man in his late 20's.
I recall that in middle school, the coach of the baseball team was always patting the players on the ass. (I was not on the baseball team and nobody touched my ass). He did not get in trouble, but a local priest got nailed for patting kids on the ass who were fully clothed.
I don't understand why someone would be attracted to a child sexually - since they are devoid of sexual attributes. I can't recall ever seeing someone under the age of 16 who was sexually attractive. Still 2 years below the legal limit, but mother nature matures some people earlier than others. There is no excuse for those looking at pre-teens for their sexual gratification.
