It does seem odd to me that pages are accessible "from the outside." I can only presume that the site owner(s) have reasons for this...and also that these are not topics that can get an official answer from them.

...and people are right about this regarding the site being crawled and indexed by Google. I did a search and the site CAN be prevented from being crawled and indexed by Google. It's a simple matter of using either metatags or a robots.txt file.
Here's what I turned up on Google regarding this. Site owners simply need to have the coder here add something like this (or both metatags and a robots.txt file) to prevent Google from showing this site. I did a search and was shocked to find out I can find things here through Google.

I have been wanting to ask this question as to why it is indexed by Google. This does not make GayTor private anymore, does it?
This may also explain as to why many are looking into moving to another site as the security and anomaly issues here can be perplexing.
Seeing the difference of the number of my torrents snatched here to the one I came from; there is a big difference. This is why I chose to stay and persevere here though thinking of the security of ones anonymity here can be quite concerning.

I've never seem someone type whining online with the extra g and actually add to a conversation lmao, historically. Just an observation, it never ceases to amaze me.
Anyhow this is still all incredibly fascinating because I've noticed some reposts pop up with like 0 effort, and I can't even blame them because they probably guess "why put effort if it'll be taken down at random".
I'm not a member of any straight torrent sites like this but I wonder if any private ones are under this level of scrutiny.
Freeleech torrents vulnerability is definitely to do with them being bumped added to that list.
At this point with last year and the last few weeks, I don't think anyone who frequents the site isn't aware. I'm just curious if anything can be done.

There was a newly posted torrent that was on the top of the search list. It was titled OFVLFN-something. I totally forgot the word. The screenshots got good looking young boys. It was 14GB and wanted to download it. I just took a peek at the forum and when I went back to download it, it was GONE.
Now I'm going crazy looking for it. Would you guys know anything that's spelled something like that?

Uh...I did a general search of all categories (I usually ignore the porn sections), and there's videos from Onlyfans...try searching for that.

Well, I finally feel free! FREEEEE! At last!!!! No, seriously. I haven't uploaded anything at all, but I have noticed that the ones I previously uploaded have either:
a) Been uploaded by another member here with the same file size to increase that minuscule ratio increase.
b) Been snatched here and then slapped with an atrocious Gay-top.net watermark to pimp their website.
c) all the aboveYeah, I'm done. LOL!

@cinemacapman Yes it definitely is an OnlyFans but I totally forgot how that OnlyFans account name was spelled. I usually am not into OF but those boys got my attention. I should have opened it on a new browser tab. Oh well....

I hate to see we're losing people willing to share, but I'm guessing nothing will be done or whatever actions taken can't be spoken on.
I saw some content creators i was gonna sub to uploaded super early this morning and grabbed them, of course both files are gone, 75 gigs and 45 gigs, so people who don't have seedboxes or who haven't been here a LONG time, can't really grab those kinda file sizes anyhow.
Ive even been ripping some content creators that have been on sale but it's like why upload lol, i absolutely wouldn't do a low quality upload and probably spend time making screenshots and naming files, I'd be pissed to see it deleted in less than 12 hours.

@krad3434 the thing is, porn sites are getting less and less popular. The future of gay porn will be content from fan sites. Actually, it already is the new reality. Content creators are more popular already than a lot of websites.
If gaytorrent doesn't do something to fix this, I think this site will "die" in a few years if admins don't do something about this. People will start to migrate somewhere else because this just isn't working.
Which is a shame because I do like this site a lot. Have been here for over a decade,

The porn sites are in a weird state, a lot of OF creators who stick to the SW profession eventually just move onto work with studios then eventually rentmen if they keep up with it once studios stop hiring them, unless they make their own studio or w.e.Studios are mostly either in the giant conglomerate owned by M*ndgeek or niche and able to stay afloat with subscriptions and selling other products etc.
OF itself is teetering based on how Twitter ends up. So much fansite promotion is done through twitter that can't currently happen on ANY other social media site that it'll be interesting to see where this all goes. It doesn't help that it seems OF is hitting a saturation point. Some creators are hot but simply have shitty content lol, and try to nickle and dime for it with PPVs onto of subs and continued sub bonuses.
As for this site. I can't speak much to how things will go. Gay torrenting sites are scarce, especially compared to any other type of torrenting site lol. This is still one of the largest and most updated even with the ridiculous take downs.
We'll have to see whats done and whether or not this will be a one of or an annual end of year experience.

I'll take the screenshots myself to give peeps "an understanding" of what the video quality is like. No, I ain't going on some other website and then uploading beau·coos of professional pictures for the torrent I'm willing to share. What I do not like (that I'm powerless over unless I really want to get tacky with watermarks) is that these members either download it or upload it here as if people are stupid. Then again, members here do not "do their homework" if that makes any sense as I do appreciate other members who call out a duplicate. Hell, I do. I don't play. No ma'am, no sir. Nuh-uh.
And I DO NOT like Gay-Top.Net. Taking other people's torrents on here and then slathering their shitty ass watermarks as if they have "legal rights" to something. OMG. I really don't want to get started with this major dweeb. Or toad. God damn.

I'm curious if the free leeches being taken down is also hurting peoples chances to grow their ratio without seedboxes.
Grabbing freeleeches, even ones I had no interest in was how I had a decent ratio when I first started. Studio videos were like 1 gig or so, so it never hurt TOO much to grab.
Grabbing an OF you really want can easily be 10gb to like 120gb+ depending on the creator. I hadn't really considered that too much before.

@krad3434 One way to help a ratio is to download a new torrent and then select only a few (maybe 10% by volume) of the files to actually be downloaded to your computer. (This is easy to do with uTorrent by unticking boxes; it's probably similar with other clients.)
This way you'll be among the first to get that material, and then be a "source" for other downloaders who are likely trying to grab all the files. It also increases the probability that you'll be left with something playable if the torrent is taken down quickly.
The only disadvantage to this strategy is that a torrent for which you haven't downloaded all the files will still take up one of your download slots, even if you have all the stuff that you selected. After the initial surge of people downloading from that torrent, you might want to delete it if you have a small number of allowable slots.

My ratio is fine, currently I actually would like the files uploaded but unless someone actually does something about the reports its pointless lmao.
Like I can't fathom who can have the rights to enough files to get rid of the following at the same time minutes ago: 3 separate OF creators (2 managed to finish because they were under 10 gigs, one hasn't even been removed, the 3rd was 36 and was taken down in about 10 minutes), a black porn actor who has worked for like several of the studios in the torrent including ancient f*ckermate ones that didn't even come in 1080 and a half rip of a defunct site from like 2012 lol.
