I really missed the Sextorrent.ru site. IF we could start by having a MMF-BI section would be awesome.
Now the STRAIGHT OLDER / YOUNGER… I don't agree. Since this site is currently GAY, we cannot have only STR8 porn too.

Seriously, what's the point of these all changes? I heard this site is .RU because it was sign of solidarity with gay men in Russia. Well, i'm a GAY man from RUSSIA and I face opression from STRAIGHT people for being gay each and every day. You can't even talk about being gay here, it's a law. And I will face that opression even in my fantasy now? Thank you very much for your help and solidarity.

Wasn't it the basic idea to make the bi and straight porn sections invisible by default and a member would need to enable them in his Profile?
To somehow implement a separate layer for straight porn that has to be enabled to see straight the categories?What we have now are a Bisexual and two Straight categories which have to be disabled and most likely more to come in the future (i.e. straight fetish, …). That means that everytime a new catagory is added one has to go to profile settings and disable it ... not very user-friendly

I am sure after next changes to categories, there will be no more need to re-select not to want straight and/or bi-porn.
Personally I'd preferred to have the pi-porn category split into two: 1. Bi-porn (MMF) and 2. Bi-porn (FFM), where the first goes with "Gay" and the second with "Straight"
With that I see the need of a fine grained choice in the Profile:
a/ allow to see Bi-porn (MMF)
b/ allow to see Straight , including Bi-porn (FFM)The making the users needing to disable the Bi- and Straight porn, makes them recognizing the change and to thing about their choice.
Still I think this will not be flooded with straight porn, because all members got at least a "Gay" affinity to register on a site called "GayTorrents". Lets wait and see how this develops .

Very simple, I like daddy bears and there's a bunch of really good looking ones in straight porn videos but it's usually hard to find them because most straight sites focus on the girls and not the dudes so you'll end up with regular looking men mixed with the good stuff. Having everything I like (gay and straight daddy bears) all in one site makes searching much easier to me.
I know you don't really like this stuff and it's ok, but the gay community should be about being open and accepting other people's taste so Im hoping this section will continue to grow. Thankfully, nobody's forcing you to download or even watch these videos, you can just hide the sections you dont want and focus on the stuff you do enjoy. I personally don't like videos with twinks but you dont see me asking the moderators to remove those sections, I just pretend they are not there, let the people who enjoy that stuff be happy and carry on with my own life.

The "Str8, Bi, Trans or Lesbian" porn section over at ourGTN.org got less than 1 new torrent per day, that is all but a flood. The "Mature Porn (Str8 & Bi)" is indeed quite busy with a couple of uploads per day.
However, they are on well separated pages, so unless you select them on purpose, nobody will even recognize those torrents. I had to check what's going on there, because usually I visit there the Porn Movies and Fetish pages only.
If you set in your Profile not to see such porn here on GayTorrent.ru, you will not see any of them, even if it becomes a flood. Perhaps we will create a forum section for discussions about bi- and straight porn, but than it shall be collapsible, means besides the title, you won't see it.
We will watch that there is no gay (or straight) bashing. Chacun sa façon.

No, they are pretty visible if you go to Torrents List which was the easiest way to check new uploads there, and I didn't even know how to hide them before the whole list got flooded with them and I lost all patience. I think to avoid this you need to inform members how to disable straight torrents in torrent list too, because not everyone reads the front page everyday and I'm sure many weren't happy to see old women's vaginas in their search list.

We have a forced redirection to the home page after 6 hours of inactivity … so all members should see the page once a day.
But of course we can't force them actually reading the page instead of clicking "Browse" or "Search" right away.

Uwe pointed out that the current solution is just an interim one. But interim soultions have the tendency to become permanent ones … -
I kinda feel that's is beyound the point to post straight torrents in a gay site, there is an universe of sites which you can go for that… but for me it's all ok, freedom of sharing all the way, however let not the flood of straight sections begin, we have too many already...
and a bit offtopic but let me blah on this, I'm more annoyed with how some torrents are always put on first page of search, they maybe 1 2 weeks old and still getting the privilege of visibility, and getting all the seed, while some other torrents are second, third page hidden in half a day, some of those from users who need the seed, I know that some torrents are prone to be more popular, but the visibility is way unfair. That and the overload of same film but posted in a different sizes or formats, I know its better to have the choice but sometimes it's basically spam.

Since the option to turn off the bisexual/straight categories exists, I see no reason for members to b–-- about their addition to the site. With ONE little click it can be turned on or off.
Members have all sorts of sexual fetish appetites, which we include proudly on the site. . . . foot, S&M, trans, mature, bears, chubs, etc. . . . Why is it so hard for a handful of members not to appreciate how at least a third of gays on GT.ru like to watch straight guys in action as another form of "fetish" ??
Additionally, we DO have bisexual members who appreciate the vagina as much as the cock. What business is it for a gay guy to dismiss what appeals to some other gays?
Further diversification of the straight category will not occur. The only reason why it is split into younger and older is because Tom, the site owner, likes older men, even in straight porn and wanted it sub-sectioned accordingly.
And who wants to bet that the bisexual category will contain 95+% male-male-female material ?

At first I was sceptical about the addition of exclusively straight porn material (but not of bisexual porn). Because I hadn't made up my mind, I didn't rush to express any opinion on the matter. As I was thinking it through, your post came and set things "straight" (pun intended)! Your paradigm is excellent, and your answer is both eloquent and substantiated. It's all clear now, at least in my mind. Straight porn still isn't my thing, but it doesn't have to be. It may be other users' thing, and we should all respect that.

I've promoted the last days some mainstream (tag ~ms) and not gay (tag ~ng) torrents to give a last chance download opportunity before they get deleted. See the new rules for uploading. This is an exceptional flood of promotions.
Then, since all torrents get now listed immediately, there are much more duplicates, which when reported get removed and the original promoted. Before torrents were going through the approval and we filtered around 25 to 30 % of duplicates (!). I hope the ratio of duplicates reduces by up-loaders learning to take their responsibility and members reporting quickly duplicates or at least don't download from them. While moderating torrents at Gay-Torrents.net, I've seen a much lower proportion of duplicates. Similar should be possible to reach here. Then less promotions.
In short the promotions are to give the originals the visibility which was stolen by a duplicate upload.

Still it should be mentioned bisexual means MMF so those who turn on the bi category won't have the double pussy surprise. MFF is mainstream straight porn and technically no longer considered "bisexual".
