Would you tell your sexual partner that he doesn't smell good?

I have a guy that I meet with every now and then. His body odor doesn't smell good to me.
When I meet with him, it's always after his day of studies is over, so I can understand the situation.
I always think that I should provide him with the option to take a shower at my house, but couldn't bring myself to tell him that.On a side note, I always wonder if I smell good to other guys I meet with, because usually you are unaware of your own body odor...
If I were to meet with a guy, and I had a bad smell, I would rather he told me and take a shower than to remain smelly. (I always take a shower before I meet with guys)
What would you do? any advice?

I would but in a very tactful way as not to hurt his feelings! If YOU had body odor how would you want to be told?

@Kekkaishi Well, since it's someone you've seen more than once you can probably tell him. If you want to be less obvious just invite him to shower with you.
Since it's something more intimate I'd rather know what is going on, he might want to know that too. Just approach it in a nice way.

I guess I come from a place where if I'm about to have sex or will have sex in the next hour or so, I then hop in the shower. I'm trying to remember if I've acted on impulse though. I did have an online encounter though where someone wore patchouli. I'm sorry, but that shit needs to be banned on all continents of the Earth. Yeah, that online encounter shortly abrupted. I think I politely said that we weren't a match or something. I forgot, lol!

If it's just a hookup I'd just ghost, not my problem. The only way I'd tell someone they stink is if it's someone that I hate or someone super close like family or a SO. -

@tenty That's a good idea, but my shower is too small for 2. I have thought about asking him directly to take a shower because it's summer and it's hot... he will need to understand
