"insert media to continue" issue with Convert X
-
I actually figured something out myself! I converted five titles with the intent of burning them to DVD, but it looked like I had too many GB's of torrent for the blank disk. I kept removing them one by one and it still woudln't burn. The error kept coming over the loudspeaker of my computer, in a British lady's voice "please insert media to continue." Of course, I tried a -R and +R disk. Nothing worked. Then I checked the burn settings. The "add DVD files" box was unchecked. I must have accidentally unchecked it when changing another setting.
The point is the error message had nothing to do with what was wrong. No wonder computers are so confusing! Maybe this will help someone else. (What happened originally was the converted files were marked for automatic deletion and I decided I wanted to keep them, for awhile anyway. So I went in and changed that setting but I must have accidentally unchecked that other one that I already mentioned).
