On countless sites, liberals are praising Biden for promising the first thing he will do is give us the legal protections the DNC has been promising us for 50 years. Biden was in government the whole of that 50 years, except the last 4 and he did nothing to give us those protections.
IN FACT, Biden, along with the rest of the DNC, voted in favor of the 3 most homophobic bills the US ever had.
When questioned about Biden never doing anything to give us those legal protections, they claim that only the President can do that.
When shown that Biden's racist 1994 crime bill and Schumer's 1994 homophobic RFRA bill because law despite them not being President, they then say, "but yeah, the President has to sign it into law". It's clearly not what their original argument was.
