Factually incorrect on both counts. If he was criminally avoiding taxes, the Times would have led with that and it would have been the headline. That means it's a nothing burger. If they actually had anything, they wouldn't start with all the boring stuff. He may have lost some money some years, but he paid millions including state taxes, and he donated almost 1.5 million of his salary as President since 2016. The reason had to do with the tax laws. He's only been there four years, these politicians have set up this system to benefit their lobbyists and wall street. But that's ok. Amazon does the same, but you don't care about that cuz they own the WAPO which attacks him, so it's ok for the wealthiest man in the world to do the same, and Biden also did the exact same thing. Only Trump is bad for doing the exact same thing all these other billionaires did. That's the law. Trump had no ability to change it, and why would he? If you buy a property, you write off the depreciation. It's just simple. This is more nothing.
