I agree there shouldn't be such a thing as "acceptable racism."  If I had to guess at a justification for this, I would say probably that (in Western societies, at least) bigotry against ethnic/social minorities and women have significant negative impacts on those groups, while specifically anti-white bigotry hasn't really hurt white people in nearly the same ways.

Do I think that justifies anti-white racism?  No.  But I can at least understand where the argument is coming from.

I think you are going to see the conversation around race change. This year is a gamer changer. It is a scary time. Scary extremists on the right and the left and not a lot of moderates to act as glue.

It's also "accepted academic terminology" to say that everywhere in the world, only whites can be racist.  As an example, look the hatred and abuse of whites in Africa.

Please be careful that we don't get into the dictionary fallacy; ie "feminism is literally the dictionary definition, but racism was made up by some old white guys to demonize non-whites".

I would agree that liberalism has caused a lot of problems in Academia, Its really eroded civil discourse, which allowed better ideas to move freely, critical thinking skills to develop, and a better understand of problems, because all sides were heard.

Now students won't tolerate professors to teach from texts that offend them. If I had not been offended at some point in my education, I wouldf have asked for my money back and changed schools.

Cancel culture, dismantling history, conspiracy theory and echo chambering are ruining everything.

Is the concept of "white privilege' really so difficult to understand?  'White Privilege' is gaining advantages/access in the world for no other reason than the colour of your skin at birth.  It doesn't matter how much money Oprah and Obama has, they will still be treated disrespectfully by some,  because of the colour of their skin., whether it be Organizations, Institutions, Police Officers are salespeople in a store.  Money doesn't allow any black person to escape racism and discrimination. Things a rich or poor white person doesn't have to think about.

Maybe at the next Gay Pride Parade, you should be complaining about the hypocrisy and evil ways  of Gays, who are out celebrating Gay Pride, while  the poor oppressed straight people are forced to deal with pink ribbons all over the streets,road closures and all night parties!

that's not the same thing. You have actual racists targeting white people. Not just with words but with physical harm. Despite the racist nature of the crime, MSM and even law enforcement refuses to acknowledge it.
