How do I get my torrent client to seed more?

Title. New to torrenting and trying to get a good ratio. Downloaded 3 torrents and they're all seeding, but almost nothing actually uploads. When they do it's like kb/s. My internet is decent since I can upload stuff to dropbox pretty fast. Is there a setting I can use to make me upload normally? thanks

Sounds like you are uploading normally but there are just not a lot of downloaders and they either don't have fast internet service or else there are a lot of other seeders besides yourself.
The best thing you can do now for your ratio is to stop downloading anything that isn't freeleech and start downloading a torrent or two that have newly been made freeleech so you can seed to others without increasing the amount you've downloaded.
The next best thing is to keep seeding 24/7 or as much as possible because you earn 0.5 seedbonus points an hour whether or not anyone actually downloads from you and you can exchange those points for upload traffic.
