New Torrent Seeding Question.

Hello,

I just uploaded my first torrent (very exciting) However I was a little confused about the amount of seeding torrents allowed.

In my profile it says I can have 4 at one time.

In my torrent client I had 126 Currently Seeding (Not all of them where actually sending data only about 2-3 the rest where waiting for people)

I was unsure if I was only allowed to have a maximum of 4 1 Upload + 3 Already Downloaded torrents so I removed the rest but I download alot of Themed Movies and they usually do not get alot of seeders so I feel bad if someone else wants it but cant get it because I removed them.

So can someone clarify this for me

Congrats on your first upload. Don't forget to see if you are illegible for the first time uploader program. http://community.gaytor.rent/index.php?topic=8444.0

You don't really need to remove the other torrents. Just stopping them will have the same result. You can always resume seeding the other torrents once your upload torrent has another 3-4 other complete seeder.

Update:
There seem to be a problem with your torrent. Has it been approved? When I follow the link under your profile it said the torrent does not exist. It also does not show up in my search.

Thanks that clarifies it for me.

I do not need any Seed Bonus I have a pretty good ratio and I always seed well beyond what I have to, their are others who need it more than me (I wrote in the new torrents description asking not to give me seed bonus) I just wanted to share a show I that I liked

The torrent was not yet approved when thangcuoi made his update, which explains the error message, but it is now.

My first torrent was a big success, No issues during upload and already has some additional seeders

There are different ways to upload a torrent and share the movies. It will depend mainly on the torrent client programme used.

We have some guides with pictures in the Support forum Guides & HowTos section as well as an old upload guide which is accessible via the page which shows up when you click "Upload" in the blue band.

There is quite some reading (certainly re-reading), so don't try it in a rush, do the first time on a day where plenty of time is available. Count for some hours for the first, later 30 minutes will do.
