We frequently get complaints at the helpdesk where members say they've only received partial or NO upload credit, for their newly uploaded torrent (which has already been successfully downloaded by other members).

Here's a few possibilities that may explain why this has occured:

Are you seeding via a proxy? That won't work, for earning upload (seeding) credit.

If not, have you checked your port forwarding is set up correctly?  Here's some tools for checking that:
      https://www.google.com/search?q=check+port+forwarding

When seeding, your Internet connection / torrent program / IP connection / seeding must remain ON and UNCHANGED, for long periods of time, to earn upload credit, as your torrent program is only permitted to report uploaded data quantities back to our tracker server every 30 minutes… and any change in the "ON and UNCHANGED" status will reset this 30 minute counter for reporting, while resulting in lost tallies of previously uploaded data quantities.

NON-STANDARD torrenting programs may cause this problem, too. We recommend using "uTorrent Classic", if at all possible.
      Here's a link to facilitate that:  https://community.gaytor.rent/topic/9055/utorrent-how-to-downgrade-or-fresh-install-classic-version-2-2-1-build-25302

We don't have any tools at our end to detect computer / torrent program / modem / router configuration problems at your end, so please don't ask us about that; sorry about that!

      Take care,
