We understand the forum is for gaytor.rent but gay-torrents.net is an important part of the gay torrent community. You have to understand that site was probably responsible for a good chunk of the source of the torrents hosted on this site. It's only natural to be a bit curious as to it's mysterious downtime.
It's been down for a couple of days now and unfortunately there was no backup way to remain informed about site news.
Some users may feel if they ask here they might find someone who frequents gay-torrents.net with any information regarding it's downtime.

Also, please don't be biased in the editing and deletion of topics which mention certain other sites. Other torrent sites have been discussed in various topics on this forum (as I have read) and none of them were edited. Don't go batshit insane just because a "competitor"'s site is mentioned.
If anything you should be glad. This is going to bring in a lot more traffic to gaytor.rent

hey… mike is for me like a good friend... i talk to him often.. somtimes... twice a week. we talk about situations and stuff... i wish him my best.. but at the moment i believe he has just another hardware crash like the last time...
and if, he has to buy new hardware, he also need to bring that over to his server houser... that takes time...

I use both sites all the time and don't see it as a conflict. They are both great sites and I think compliment each other very well. It is not unusual for someone to be asking for a file on one site that I or someone else has managed to find on the other site and share it with them as a result.
I am pleased Tom does not see it as competition which must never be mentioned on this site and has been able to give us this helpful news. I have now shared that info on some of the other sites I use where fellow members have been asking for news.

Ohhhhh that a different site! i encountered that site a few time through StumbleUpon, few months later, looking at isohunt for gay porn, and downloaded the torrent, i was looking at the tracker list in the torrent and saw gaytor.rent (there is few more tracker in that torrent since Isohunt is a metasearch torrent site). So i thought it must be that gay-torrents.net and went to Gaytorrent.ru and found out the design changed but went ahead to sign up. until now, i realized it two site. oopsy hahaha.
i just try to regsiter for it and it currently disabled, that the reason why the hardware issue? or it been disabled for long time?

You couldn't register because the "main" server was broken and they just had an emergency backup running. Everything is fixed now

Yes i went there now to check it again and it working again. and finally register. have to wait for Admin to approve my freshly new account
