I've been thinking about buying the switch too, primarily to play games like overcooked and paladins

The switch is a very cool system and will get great nintendo games on it.

However I regret the purchase because I bought it too early due to a sale. I should have waited a few more years for the library to build up or pokemon to come out.

I think it's worth looking into any new games and seeing if they grab your curiosity. I can personally say the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is addictive and amazing. It's a huge open world, combat is fun and fairly challenging. Also, Mario Kart is hella fun.

I bought one and I'm happy with it. It has much more games than the Wii U and new games are released often, but for now games from the earlier consoles are not yet available (aside from ports).

The best on the Switch is that you can play anywhere and the exclusive games like Octopath Traveler and Mario/Zelda

It's great for Nintendo exclusives - some of Nintendo's best work yet tbh - and it's turned out to be great for indies and Japanese titles as well (there are already a lot of JRPGs and VNs and the like on there).

The only thing it doesn't have a ton of is major Western games. It's got a few (especially from Bethesda) but you'll probably still want a PC or another console around if you care about those.

Yes it's the best Nintendo console since the GameCube! There are plenty of exclusives out and tons more next year too many to keep track of like (Fire Emblem, Luigi's Mansion 3, Yoshi, New Super Mario Bros Deluxe, yo-kai watch 4, animal crossing, Pokemon generation 8, bayonetta 3) and tons more not announced and that I can't think of. If you are interested in any of these exclusives and enjoy the pre Wii and the 3/DS eras of Nintendo what are you waiting for?

It is if you like Nintendo games and you play with friends. They have a lot of co-op games. I also love the Bayonetta series so I had to get the Switch to play those.

If you like the games released on Switch - definitely worth it. I never bought console before due to moving around too much, but with switch you don't need a tv and can play on the go as well
