Oh I think it's quite newsworthy. But only because I simply adore Russell Tovey.
Except for just a little bit of jealousy, I think it's fantastic that they both appear to be very happy together.
From many interviews I've seen of porn stars, finding someone who can get past their porn careers and love them for who they are, not what they do/did for a living is very difficult. Steve is quite lucky in finding someone as open minded and uninhibited as Russell.
For Russell to be happy makes me happy.
