so far i prefer left wingers than right wingers
and atheists rather than religious people

being gay and on the rightwinger/religious side is like shooting yourself in the foot…

so far i think brexit was a bad thing for uk, but it can be a good thing for europe... uk always wanted to have a better deal compared to the rest of the eu countries, also it acted more in the interest of u.s.a. than the interest of eu

i disliked politicians of uk going into war... a war that maybe gave benefit to u.s.a. but in the end gave only trouble to eu with waves of immigrants...

i was surprised some rightwingers uk politicians used the gay rights to their advantage... so they stole a perk from the left side and used it to score a win... in the end i do not complain, even if i do not benefit from it since i do not live in uk

the fact the mayor of uk is religious is a thing i do not like, for me christian , muslim is the same... all wrong... but still he behaves better than the gop, trump, repubblicans... so it is fine for me...

in the end it was very stupid for the rightwingers of uk to make a brexit vote... when right wingers play with extremists right wingers the country suffers.

in the end i do not know how it will go, still i am just a spectator anyway.

        @Shami94:

Though it is actually spelt the "Labor" party, though I'd be crazy to expect you to know that.

        Nope.

In Queens English, it's spelled LABOUR.  Just like colour, neighbour, armour, etc, etc, etc.

American English doesn't use the U in the spelling.

Mr POLICE, i was complimenting a forum poster for his ability to think outside the figurative low dimensional box. i did not call someone a mouron, which Frederick did indeed do.

I assume you will let Fredericks insult go? Because honestly, being called one dimensional is obviously worse than using basic derogatory terms? (im being sarcastic)

I let it (and Shami94's insults) go because they have been active in the discussion.

Since I made my  :police: :police: post, you have done much better at furthering the discussion.    As long as you keep adding to the discussion, you'll be fine.

You are fairly new here Erikwi.  You haven't yet endured Shami94's litany of lies and distortions.
By the way, I called Shami a "mouron" in response to him incorrectly attempting to correct my spelling of "labor party" and then insinuating that I'm stupid and should not be expected to know the right spelling.  Shami should avoid comparing his intellect to mine.

It is always funny when the Brexiteers and the Trumptard cheer squad in the USA complain about immigrants from South Asia, Africa, The West Indies etc.. Perhaps they should have thought about that when the the British colonised those countries.

It is the same as the freaky looking far right dickhead and Trump fan Gert Wilders in The Netherlands who lost the election there a few months back. He screams his ugly fanny off about Muslim immigrants in Holland calling it an "Invasion". Perhaps the Dutch shouldn't have invaded Indonesia.

                        PS:

My apologies for my mistake about Labour vs. Labor in relation to the UK Labour Party. I did a few years school in England, not to mention that I grew up, and did most of my schooling in India where they also prefer British English, so I am well aware of the differences between British and American Spellings. I am living in Australia now, and although they generally also use British spellings, the Australian Labor Party is spelt "Labor",  even though they spell it "Labour" in other contexts, hence my confusion and error. The New Zealand Labour Party still spells it "Labour" as in the UK. I have no idea why Australia has this exception.

By the way, I have heard an argument against the Labour Movement quit similar to this before:

"They don't call it the "Labour" party for nothing.  The Labour party would have the entire population working like slaves to the government.. like Communism." : Frederick

But it was from a boy who was about twelve.

The UK Labour Party hasn't been about the workers for at least 20 years.

Like the US Democrats, it's been run by the wealthy and champagne socialists.

He's against anti-terrorism programs because they target muslims.  Oh, the fucking insanity.

Who exactly are you talking to/about?

Anyway, Sadiq Khan has allowed London to turn into a 3rd world shithole because he deems everything as racist and anti-muslim.    He even called official police stats as racist because it shows high levels of non-white crimes in London so he ordered race to be removed, as we saw in many other western places.   Of course, he doesn't have a problem when mostly white areas have whites and the main criminal element.

Crime rates in the UK are going down overall, except in London where it's rising.

LOL.  Brexit is the best thing that could happen to the UK.

By "Brexit", I am referring to a true Brexit, not this Brexit in name only shit that the EU has offered up and said the UK gets nothing better.

Of course, the people that support a true Brexit believe the UK can do fine on its own and those who don't support it believe the UK is shit and will die without the EU.

Of course, EU member states want the UK to stay so we can keep being a net contributor to the EU.

Let's not forget that Merkel threw up the flood gates and told the entire 3rd world to come to Europe and get welfare.  She did this on her own and then had the EU force member states to take them all.

I am forced to pay taxes to fund animal blood "sports" like bull fighting and dog fighting, despite the fact that it's illegal in the UK, because the UK is a member state of the EU.

The EU cares about muslims, but not LGBTs.

We were lied to by Remain and the EU about the EU military.

There is a laundry list of reasons the UK has to get out of the EU.

man, youre gonna have some hard years ahead of you if you think the situation in the uk will improve with brexit. i guess you wont really notice it until the very short term euphoria of "yes we did it" has passed and you have to face the mountain of consequences of "doing it"… it might take 5 or 10 years before you really notice the trickle-down consequences make an impact in your daily life, but like, your country is fucked. sorry.

Do you mean that if we no longer subsidize animal blood "sports" we will suffer?

Maybe you are saying the EU will be total cunts to the UK.

Maybe you are saying that controlling our own immigration and allowing in only those we want in will make us suffer.    We have to let the poor of the EU flock here to get welfare.  We can insist that EVERYONE FROM AROUND THE WORLD is treated exactly the same when it comes to immigration.  Let's not forget that there are 4 times more EU citizens in the UK than there are UK citizens in the EU.

Under EU rules, a person from another EU country can come here and become a politician and actively work to harm the country.  I personally know one such politician, Christian Allard.  He's a French national living in Scotland.    He wants to force the UK to stay in the EU, while at the same time trying to break up the UK.
