What are you talking about? No one replied to you but you kept making replies to this thread trying to elicit a response, going back to several days to try to make a point about something trivial that had and has nothing to do with the topic of the thread.
I think your statement is a good example of projection. If you don't know what that means, look it up.

The topic was on point; Flozen brought in facts; you ignored the facts and went off on a tangent; I pointed the tangent out; Fred said to ignore people with red; I said rep doesn't matter it's thumbs – TWO DAYS LATER you commented on the thumbs. YOU obviously cared enough to keep thinking about it. Two days passed with three messages you posted in the thread that no one responded to so that you made yet another message suddenly bringing up thumbs up/down.
Those are the facts.
And telling you to adhere to a higher standard is exactly what members should be telling you to do. You work for the site. You're an admin, yet you use your position to bully people, call them names, and downvote them into red. You don't do your job well; if you did, these forums would have more traffic. That's on you. I know this because other members complain about you to me off-site, or did you overlook the messages in the forums of people saying they don't post because the environment is hostile? So be an adult and act with professionalism like an admin should or give up the position to someone who would take it seriously.

I don't bully people. Unless you mean I treat them equally. Like you and your buddies, I am allowed to thumbs and rep anyone I want. I'm allowed to disagree with you on topics, such as the murdering innocent men in hopes it might prevent crimes. I don't have to only focus on the specific parts you demand I focus on so your point of view looks better.
I'm far more lenient than most staff when it comes to the crap being done by people on the site. Do you really want me to get all YouTube and enforce blanket rules, regardless of which side violates them? Of course you don't. You only want me to enforce the rules you like, against the people you don't like. I've been doing this for 11 years on this site and I know how people work.

Geez, at least you are consistent in your complete unwillingness and/or inability to process facts that don't fit your bare-bones, YouTube-scented narrative.
Before my post, you presented zero facts on the City Council's history and the current candidates, including their credentials and prior relevant political experience (or for one, his complete lack thereof). Those are among the facts I brought, and they matter.
I don't often speak from this perspective, but as a former grad teacher with a Masters' Degree in Mass Communication, I find you have an utter lack of discernment for what details are pertinent when evaluating a news report, and when creating (and later, defending) your thread posts.
So, it's no wonder you can't recall the details of my facts, or generally, ANY facts – you simply don't rely on them. And there's the pity.

We can't ignore the very real fact that identity politics is the main reason that this WHITE MAN is being told that he can't run is because he's running against 3 VOCs. No one would have batted an eye if he too was a VOC.

It is extremely telling that you can't argue anything I say, so you have to argue me. You try to shut me down by insulting me, like leftist always do.
I noticed that since you and I got into it over your stance on murdering innocent men in hopes it might prevent a crime, that you became the darling of the leftists on the site. If you ever agree with me on anything, they will stab you in the back quicker than you can blink an eye. Ask RoyalCrown89 about the "love" his fellow leftists showed him when he supported free speech as defined by the USSC (which I also support). As the 6 or 7 leftists who finally, after several months, finally condemned the violence by both sides.

Look, from my first response on page one, I said:
"And yes, it seems like ALL sides are playing identity politics, so no one here has the higher moral ground."
While ct and I tagged ALL four candidates with playing identity politics of one stripe or another, you just couldn't step away from the white guy long enough to recognize, "Hey, this 11th-hour bid could be political opportunism by a white candidate to use his "identity" as a wedge between the other, multi-ethnic candidates."
Can you even acknowledge the possibility now? The mere possibility?

Here's the thing, R: We agree.
Flozen even agreed that this particular case seeped in identity politics but instead of standing on that firm ground you both got into a fight. Not cool!
About this particular case there are two things going on.
- Identity politics and 2) the man is legit less qualified. If you're going to maintain that he x, y, or z because he's a white guy, then you're playing identity politics, now.
The conversation could have moved in a direction to find more common ground or to look for solutions but things here quickly degenerate into name-calling and fisty cuffs. As an Admin you should be setting the standard so that conversations flow. This is why I'm pissed with you but ignore Fred (most of the time).
Most of my friends hold views I disagree with – Christians, Muslims, SJW's of some flavor, real racists -- and I get along fine because I listen and talk. There needs to be more of that here.
