I wonder if she would have sympathy for a folk music festival.
People get all upset whenever they can find racial undertones in anything, yet it's perfectly acceptable to bash Trump, republicans, etc.
If the left protest something (such as defacing and destroying monuments), it's protected by "freedom of speech".
If the right protest something.. it's RACISM or MISOGYNY. -
The problem, you see, is that she DOES actually believe the things she said..

It's easy to misspeak when you're on Twitter (or FB). How many times have you sent an angry email? I think that was just an offhand remark that led to serious repercussions to teach us we must be more mindful about how we speak to one another.

She was fired because she used her account as part of her job.   If she had used her account as just a personal thing, she would not have been fired.
